8 Getting Started with Online ImPACT I submitted my order. What next? Primary contact will be ed (system admin) Username address Password Baseline testing link 48 hour (2 business days) turn around on start up. - Spam/ filters - Attachment filters / Fax issues

9 What is a System Admin and Authorized User? System Admins. Can add and remove authorized users Set security levels Transfer data between subgroups Maximum of 3 per organization Authorized Users Can access the impact data Print reports and administer post tests As many as needed for each organization

10 Who can give the ImPACT test? Training to proctor ImPACT baseline testing. Take the demo test at least twice. Understand the basic concept of neuropsych testing. Take this course. Understand post test data is to be referred to a clinician for analysis. No home based testing.

11 Who can interpret the test? ImPACT Best Practices Final Interpretation and Return to Play decision is ALWAYS done by a concussion specialist (MD, DO, PhD). ImPACT does NOT make a return to play decision, it is a tool that the clinician uses to make the assessment.

17 ATC Recommendations 45 minute blocks (first year). Explain the test Not an intelligence test Want to complete as fast and accurately as possible Difficult - not going to get everything right Read direction twice before starting test raise hand with questions Take demographic section as a group Type the link together Symptom inventory, start at own pace.

19 Baseline Testing Minimum interval between baseline tests is 2 years (until the age 19). Review athletes data to determine validity of baseline test. Repeat invalid baseline tests If invalid test is missed, simply use normative data during post-concussion evaluation

20 Common Errors/Fixes Forgot password Lost password box on results site I closed out before the end of the test. Must retest, didn t complete process. Error generating report Logout and back in / Restart Name listed twice Different spelling or date of birth Slowed down stimulus display for work around.
