5 Motors and Generators In North America, we offer the broadest range of industrial electric motors available from any supplier in the marketplace, from fractional to 100,000 hp. The ABB and Baldor Reliance product lines include a complete line of NEMA motors. Additionally, we offer: Premium efficient Inverter/vector IEC low voltage Medium voltage Synchronous Variable speed DC Linear and servo Traction Synchronous, traction and wind power generators Thousands of motors and generators are available from stock for immediate delivery, and all can be customized as needed. Our products meet EISA regulations, and families have been created with specific industry requirements and applications in mind, including IEEE 841, hazardous duty, washdown, explosion proof, farm duty, pump, unit handling, HVAC and brake motors. Generator Sets We are pleased to offer the most complete line of portable, standby, prime power and peak-shaving industrial generator sets in the industry, from 3 2,000 kw in LP, natural gas or diesel. Motor and Generator Services Services for motors and generators are designed to reduce down time and extend your products lifetime. We offer installation and commissioning, spare part kits and preventive and predictive maintenance services. 5

6 Drives and Controls Drives The drives product family was designed to ensure energy efficiency, improve reliability and increase productivity in countless applications and processes. With drives rated from fractional to more than 100,000 hp, ABB and Baldor provide control for virtually any AC or DC motors with life cycle services and product support. Low Power AC Drives Covers all applications and processes from general purpose to pumps, fans, and precision control; this product group includes micro, wall-mount, machinery, and HVAC AC drives and bypasses. High Power Drives This array of products includes large cabinet-built AC drives alongside the large range of DC drives. Multi-drives and modules for large, complex applications are also available. Medium Voltage Drives Medium Voltage Drives range from 300 to more than 100,000 hp, and provide reliable large-motor control for an expansive amount of applications. Motion and PLC A vast range of products, which include servo drives and motors, linear motors, motion controllers, HMI control panels, scalable PLCs, wireless I/O devices and common configuration software to interface between all. 6 Drives Services Drive Services maximizes the productive life of drive products and reduce the total cost of ownership through life cycle management services, spare parts, preventive maintenance, drive repair, refurbished drives, and field support services.

Mounted Bearings Our mounted bearing family is specifically designed for reliable service and low maintenance. Products in the family include ball, tapered roller, spherical roller, sleeve, plummer block, hydrodynamic. Our products are specifically designed for reliable service and low maintenance. Enclosed Gearing This broad line includes shaft mount, screw conveyor shaft mount, worm, helical bevel, in-line helical and motorized shaft mount, as well as a full line of configurable, modular gear drives. All are designed to operate in rugged conditions while improving total cost of ownership. Power Transmission Components Power transmission components are essential to transfer power. We provide couplings, conveyor components, bushings, sheaves, sprockets and synchronous belt drives to connect driven loads to each other, correct misalignment and offer energy efficiency. 7

10 Power Conversion Power Control We are pleased to supply customers with solutions for the control and conversion of electric power with many applications in nearly every industry. This diverse and innovative portfolio includes low and medium voltage power converters applied as STATCOMs, energy storage solutions and power quality; excitation and synchronizing systems; high power rectifiers and DC wayside power solutions. The Power Control team provides both product solutions and turnkey systems across utility, industrial and renewable energy sectors. Renewables Our Power Conversion Renewables team provides innovative generation, conversion and power quality solutions for renewable energy applications such as wind, solar, hydrokinetics and fuel cells. This group of technology-leading products include low and medium voltage wind converters; solar inverters; fuel cell inverters, tidal energy and river converters. Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure With local manufacturing and service, ABB is playing a vital role in the development of innovative and enabling technologies for EV charging infrastructure. 11 Transportation For our railway customers, we provide high performance products that fulfill the severe requirements of environmental conditions and vibrations experienced on trains, light rail vehicles, locomotives, wagons and similar applications. Electric drive equipment for railway applications includes traction converters, auxiliary converters, battery chargers, highly integrated traction chain systems, and complete subsystem solutions for rail customers. Power Protection Industries with highly sensitive, automated processes and critical power demands need protection against fluctuations and disturbances that can greatly affect their operation s bottom line with product loss and downtime. ABB offers rapid, efficient and compact power protection solutions that are optimally matched to application requirements. The PCS100 UPS-I industrial uninterruptible power supply is ideal where short power outages are present in the utility supply and require the protection to ride through significant power disturbances. The PCS100 AVC active voltage conditioner defends sensitive loads against the most common disturbances in utility supplies where voltage problems are corrected within a few milliseconds. 11

An IBE team takes an accurate survey of installed electrical and power transmission equipment, capturing detailed nameplate information along the way. The team then analyzes this data and presents a comprehensive equipment management plan for maintenance, operations and procurement personnel that outlines ways to improve energy efficiency and increase plant reliability.
