2 The Cloud The Cloud is a set of services and technologies that delivers real-time and ondemand computing resources Software as a Service (SaaS) delivers preconfigured applications, usually through web browsers Platform as a Service (PaaS) delivers a solution stack (like LAMP) tailored to certain application types Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) delivers complete server and network infrastructure on-demand hosted by a cloud provider
