Nationally recognized for preparing students with clinical training in therapeutic management. Only school in the country which requires advanced practice rotations in pediatrics and geriatrics for graduation. We are the only pharmacy school in the southwest US to offer a joint PharmD/MBA degree prior to PharmD graduation. Early exposure to rotations beginning P1 year; our curriculum provides approx over four years. 840 hours over what the Texas State Board requires. One of only three schools of pharmacy in the US to require a rural experiential rotation. Naplex pass rates consistently exceed the state and national average each year. 5 Application Process 1. Go to PharmCAS.org 2. Complete application 3. Send all transcripts, PCAT scores, and recommendation letters directly to PharmCAS. 4. Deadline December 1, Complete Texas Tech SOP Supplemental Application which is in Merlin. 6. Fill in all courses in GPA calculation. 7. Deadline December 1, Early Admit for Fall 2015 & Complete PharmCAS Application by September 1, Complete Texas Tech Supplemental Application by September 1, Take PCAT prior to September 1, If qualified, interview in early October. Receive decision by the end of October PCAT / Pharmacy College Admissions Test January 2015 test dates will be the latest dates accepted for the Fall 2014 Admissions Application All composite and subtest scores are used. A minimum of 50% on each subset and composite is preferred PCAT composite average was a 74%. The PCAT may be retaken; however, the most current score is used. NOTE: Fall 2015 Admissions January 2015 will be the latest PCAT used. ***If you have a PCAT score on file and you choose to retake the PCAT in January, we will use those scores once we receive them. ****Early Admit must have a PCAT score prior to September 1st.
