1 A Subsidiary of Masco Corporation Inbound Transportation Routing Guide Dear Supplier: The following pages provide routing instructions that must be adhered to when shipping inbound materials to BrassCraft Manufacturing locations. These instructions are applicable to the following destinations: Brownstown, Novi, Thomasville, Lancaster, Corona, Ontario, Instructions that follow include: Freight Terms Mode Types General Guidelines for LTL and small parcel shipments Routing Matrix (for each individual BrassCraft destination location) Please forward these instructions to the appropriate individuals responsible for routing / shipping BrassCraft Manufacturing orders. Freight Terms Unless otherwise specifically stated in writing, the freight terms for all shipments to any BrassCraft locations are to be FOB Origin, Freight Collect. Prepaid & add freight charges will not be permitted or paid on a supplier s invoice without written advance authorization. D freight charges are not accepted. Use of premium transportation must be approved by BrassCraft Manufacturing transportation department at (248) or (248) BrassCraft Manufacturing further reserves the right to debit the supplier for all additional freight charges and administration charges incurred resulting from the supplier failing to comply with the routing guidelines. Mode Types: Small Parcel : Ship via UPS. Less than 125 pounds per single shipment, up to 10 packages LTL (Less Than Truckload): 125 lbs. 12,000 lbs. per single shipment, more than 10 packages TL (Truckload): Exceeds 12,000 lbs. If the shipment exceeds 12,000 lbs please call the BrassCraft Manufacturing transportation department at (248) or (248) to make arrangements. 1

2 A Subsidiary of Masco Corporation Inbound Transportation Routing Guide General Guidelines for LTL and small parcel shipments SLL PCEL Shipments Preferred Small parcel carrier Ship via UPS SHIPNT SIZE REQUIRENTS: Small Parcel multi piece shipments must have a combined weight of 125 pounds or less, and contain no more than 10 packages total for one purchase order number. Wherever possible, please band together or re-pack items into a master pack carton to reduce the # of cartons being shipped to result in the lowest possible transportation cost. PCEL SOFTWE FIELD STRUIONS Use when shipping small parcel, using BrassCraft s Third Party billing number. When using UPS software: o BrassCraft Purchase Order number must be entered in Reference Field 1 for each package shipped o Declared value/insurance - DO NOT insure packages or enter a declared value as it results in additional shipping charges. LTL Shipments LTL (Less Than Truckload): Exceeds small package requirements listed above, 125 lbs. 12,000 lbs., or more than 10 packages per single shipment. Use only the approved LTL carrier per the attached matrix provided based on your shipping origin and BrassCraft destination location. LTL Carrier Customer service Web address Freight Freight Classification: For LTL shipments, a proper freight description, classification and freight class must be supplied on your bill of lading. The freight classification should reflect the National Motor Freight Classification (FC) number (website is or contact your local LTL carrier for more information). This is very important as the freight rates are determined based on the classification and freight class provided on your bill of lading.
