2 Our Beginnings David Packard (of HP) wanted academic support to bring his company to Colorado Springs UCCS created by an act of the Colorado legislature in 1965 Electrical Engineering and Business Illuminate, Investigate, Innovate Engineering and Applied Science College Vision: The College of Engineering & Applied Science (EAS) aspires to improve health, welfare, and prosperity through technical learning, research, professional practice, and invention.
