3 CLIENT ON-BOARDING PROCESS Thank you for taking the time to consider PARAGON Wealth Strategies, LLC., as your Wealth Management Partner. We are a boutique, Retirement Planning & Wealth Management firm, and pride ourselves on providing a higher level of care, planning, and wealth management services than is typically available at other firms. In order to provide this higher standard of care, we have developed a specific process for accepting and taking care of new clients. In order to clarify our procedures, reduce confusion, and set expectations, the procedures are laid out and explained below. STEP 1: Discovery Meeting.(COST: FREE - Approx 90 min) In this meeting, we explore what is important to you about money. We get to know you, understand where you are now, where you want to go, and what challenges exist. We candidly assess our ability to add value compared to your other options. If we are the right firm for you - we will tell you and ask if you would like to proceed to STEP 2. If you would be better served elsewhere, we will refer you to the correct firm or institution based upon our experience, knowledge of the industry, and the varying service models that exist out there. STEP 2: Initial Planning Meeting (COST: $ weeks later, approximately 90 min) After we have had time to review your case and perform some initial planning, we will be ready to provide you with our initial recommendations. This is not a financial plan, but instead is a synopsis of the most important actions that you can take to get on track toward your goals. It also includes a detailed portfolio analysis, a risk assessment, and a Monte Carlo analysis which allows you to see the hypothetical benefits of a portfolio rebuild in different market conditions. Should we choose to work together going forward, this fee is REBATED to you as an offset against future asset management fees. STEP 3: Mutual Commitment Meeting (COST: FREE - 1 week, approximately 45 min). In order to provide outstanding service to our clients, PARAGON only accepts serious clients who are deeply interested in a lifetime, win-win wealth management relationship. At this meeting, we commit to working together, go over the agreed upon fees, and execute the documents to move accounts and/or begin working together. After this meeting, you are officially a PARAGON client! STEP 4: 45-day Follow Up Meeting (Typically 45 days, 1 hour) This is an administrative meeting to ensure all accounts are set up properly, all assets are accounted for, and that you can effectively read and understand your statements. 4 private client wealth management portal and performance reporting systems are active and functioning properly. STEP 5: Development of the Advanced Plan and Ongoing Progress Meetings (ongoing, 90 days, typically 90 minutes) Most clients meet with us 1-3 times per year, depending upon their needs. During these meetings we execute and follow-up on the Advanced Planning steps necessary to achieve your goals. Typically, these meetings address one or more of the services listed in the Wealth Management Matrix, such as investment performance and adjustments, estate planning, health care planning, income planning, tax planning, or education planning. Please see our service matrix for more information. PARAGON FEES: PARAGON services fall into 2 basic categories: Comprehensive Wealth Management Annual Retainer Comprehensive Wealth Management: Most of our clients desire assistance not only with growing and protecting their wealth, but also with planning and executing the myriad of decisions and adjustments that must be made throughout one's retirement. Our service relationship begins with investment management, but includes all of the Wealth Management services listed below. Our Comprehensive Wealth Management service, which includes managing investments, is available for an annual fee starting at 1.25% of the amount managed - and decreasing as your asset base increases. Our minimum investment amount for this service is $500,000 - invested now, or growing to this amount within several years as assets can be consolidated. Smaller accounts may also be combined to achieve our investment minimum. Annual Retainer: Occasionally, there are individuals or families who do not have $500,000 available to transfer to our custodian for management - but would still benefit from the comprehensive wealth management services listed above. Examples are persons whose personal wealth is significant, but perhaps their money is in company 401(k) plans, company stock options, or private business accounts and transfer of those dollars are not possible. For those clients, we offer to provide all Comprehensive Wealth Management services for a negotiated annual retainer that is not less than what our Wealth Management clients pay for our services. Thus, the minimum annual retainer charged by PARAGON is $6250. As your personal wealth grows, or, it becomes feasible to transfer those dollars into a PARAGON portfolio, then we would generally transition to a normal Wealth Management relationship as described above Centurion Pkwy N.
