8 Energy Deregulation is used to introduce competition into the Electricity and Natural Gas Industry. This is done by allowing consumers to decide from whom they buy their Electrical Power and Natural Gas Supply. Several State Legislatures have voted to Deregulate Energy in their prospective State.
