5 How OAT Works OAT is unique in that it accesses the database server using only SQL OAT utilizes three key aspects of the Informix database server 1. System catalog tables in the sysmaster database to retrieve performance and monitoring data 2. SQL Admin API to make configuration changes to the data server 3.
