The Next Generation of Intelligent Analogue Addressable Control and Indicating Equipment (C.I.E) FT1020G3 Intelligent Analogue Addressable C.I.E Firetracker FT1020G3 is an intelligent analogue addressable fire system, conforming to the AS Control and Indicating Equipment, AS Power Supply and AS Fire Brigade Panel standards. FT1020G3 is the third generation of BROOKS intelligent analogue addressable systems. It meets the most stringent requirements in order to secure real fire alarms and to reduce nuisance alarms. It is also used for the maintenance, new SW downloads, etc Adaptation of each analogue detector s alarm level in relation to its contamination. 5 Fire Panels Analogue Addressable C.I.E - Options A full range of optional equipment to enhance and add to the performance of the firetracker series of Analogue Addressable C.I.E s has been designed and manufactured in Australia by BROOKS. The main options are listed below but other options to meet specific requirements are available on request: Isolate OCCUPANT WARNING SYSTEM Auto Fault PA Mic Alert Man Evac Press PA To Talk Occupant Warning Systems (OWS) The BROOKS integrated Occupant Warning System provides reliable audible and visual warnings to building occupants via speakers and strobes. The standard amplifier sizes available are 60 watt and 120watt but 20 watt and 250watt are available to special order. The OWS system comprises a main control board, a main display board, audio amplifier, optional 4 zone expansion board, optional PA 8 zone display board. Up to 2 modules (24 zones) can be fitted in FT128 control panel (considering other options) up to 4 modules (48 zones) in FT512 and up to 6 modules in FT1020G3. The zone control module is normally mounted in the CIE but it is also possible to connect the module externally via the COM loop and external 24V DC supply. The module provides a simplified indication for zone status without the need for a crystal display. The disable button allows a specific zone to be temporarily disabled without the need to access the CIE menu. This typically used where building works or maintenance procedures are being carried out in a localized area of a building. It can be configured in Win128 EBLWin and Win512. The fan control application board provides controls and fan status indications for 4 of any fan type. Up to 8 fan modules (32 fans) can be fitted in FT128 control unit, up to 16 fan modules (64 fans) in FT512 and up to 24 fan modules (96 fan) in FT1020G3. Note: the total number of fan modules shall be reduced if other options are fitted, e.g. zone control module, generic mimic module, etc. Page3 Page 3

6 Fire Panels Analogue Addressable C.I.E Options 1598 Webserver The Panasonic 1598 Webserver is mounted within the FT128, FT1020G3 or FT512 C.I.E. A cable and accessories kit is supplied with the Webserver. The Webserver allows the user to view the actual status of the FT128, FT1020G3 or FT512 in PC via internet or intranet (LAN). s can be sent in case of fire alarm, prewarning, test mode alarm, fault, disablement and/or service signal Fire Alarm Systems TLON Manager Kit The TLON Manager kit 5095 is intended for the fire alarm systems FT512 and FT1020G3 when two or more c.i.e s shall be connected in a TLON network. The kit contains the following: U10 USB Network interface type 75010R Network connection cable (1.5 m) USB memory stick, containing: Echelon LNS Server,etc The PC program TLON Manager 2.0 Documentation (Operating Instr.) USB extension cable (0.6m) License (for 64 credits per PC) U10 USB Network interface type 75010R TLON Manager 2.0 is the PC software with which a TLON project is created and installed into the network units. It is also used for maintenance of the TLON Network. USB Memory stick and USB extension cable (0.6 m) Network connection cable (1.5 m) BA-LASIF Interface Card The BROOKS LAS Interface Card has been primarily designed to interface the BROOKS FT firetracker C.I.E s to most commonly used Nurse Call systems. 7 Analogue Addressable Detectors The BROOKS range of Analogue Addressable Detectors and some Devices are manufactured by Panasonic and are available exclusively in Australia and New Zealand through your nearest BROOKS outlet. For use with the BROOKS FT128, FT512 and FT1020G3 series of Analogue Addressable C.I.E BROOKS Multi Sensor Photoelectric (Optical) and Thermal The multi detector contains one photo-electric (optical) smoke detector and one heat detector within the low profile housing The latest IC technology will secure the highest reliability possible It has unleaded soldering The smoke detection chamber has a high-efficient optical system with an infrared light LED and a photodiode with two lenses Light reflection is used to detect smoke, which enters the detection chamber through an insect filter and an optical labyrinth The heat sensing element is a thermistor The detector is supplied with two red LEDs that will be blinking when the detector has activated alarm It also has a green polling LED. FT420 firetracker Conventional C.I.E The BROOKS firetracker FT420 is a highly integrated, highly configurable and flexible 4 to 20 zone Control and Indicating Equipment (CIE). The FT420 series is Australian designed and manufactured and tested by CISRO to meet the requirements of the AS and the AS Standards. The product with correct configuration and installation is suited to specific applications which require reliable early detection, occupant warnings and ancillary control. BARFS-1 Residential Fire Panel The BROOKS BARFS-1 (single zone) Residential Fire Panels is specifically designed for residential applications. Its primary purpose is to provide reliable early warning of a developing fire so that the occupant is given the maximum time to escape to a place of safety. Fire is not just heat, consideration needs to be given to the smoke and toxic gases generated in all house fires. BROOKS recognises that residential applications require special consideration; the BARFS-1 panel must be flexible, have design integrity, be reliable and be conscious of occupant amenity.
