The Associate of Science/Career Option program prepares students to transfer to a four-year school and pursue a degree in Management Information Systems. Geographic Information Systems 2-year AAS degree Potential Careers: GIS mapping, surveyor technician Geographic Information Systems is a powerful set of integrated technology tools intended to assist with collection, storage, manipulation, analysis and visualization of real-world spatial data. Business, marketing, resource management, government, environmental management and other industries use this data in a variety of ways. In just two years, you ll earn the skills necessary to work in this exciting, high-tech field.
8 Graphic Communication Technology 2-year AAS degree Potential Careers: Graphic designer, advertising, print and publishing Learn design, layout, image manipulation and illustration, as well as final graphics used in print, Web and motion graphics, plus receive extensive experience working on Apple computers using industry standard software from Adobe. Students may transfer credits from this program to Ashford University (Graphic Design).

11 Local Area Network Management 2-year AAS degree Potential Careers: Network technician, network administrator Develop, build, integrate and maintain local area networks. Theory and practical hands-on experience will give you a basic understanding of how computers are networked. You ll learn to design and support server systems and related software, as well as provide end-user support for all LAN-based applications. Graduates of this program can transfer their credits to UNI and complete a four-year degree in Technology Management. Telecommunications Technology 2-year AAS degree Potential Careers: Fiber optics installer, network management technician Learn to install, provision, test and troubleshoot circuits ranging from simple phone lines to high speed optical fiber circuits. You will also study access technologies used in cell phones, high speed Internet and wireless communication. One of the highlights of this program is the live server telecommunications lab that provides hands-on training for students. Graduates of this program can go on to complete a four-year degree at UNI.
