3 2) A Fond Pour Jo Non profit Organization founded in 2005 created by friends following the death of Jonathan GALINIER at age 20 of cystic fibrosis, best friend of Giom Our project is part of the activities lead by the organization, of which Giom is a founding member. The proceeds of the project go towards the research of cystic fibrosis via the Molecular Genetics Laboratory in Brest, directed by Professor Claude Férec. 3) Spanish Federation Fibrosis Quistica (Fight against Cystic Fibrosis) Spanish federation funded in 1987 Federation of organisations to fight against Cystic Fibrosis «Improve the life quality of sick persons» This federation coordinates 16 Spanis organisations. It permits to improve the life quality of sick persons with numerous events to sustain the research. 4 4) Three tasks We want our journey to have an impact and not only serve personal goals. To this end, we are linking our project with children and three concrete tasks. Share our journey with hospitalised children Our goal is to help the sick children rediscover the necessary energy needed to fight the disease. The child will find their own positive identity while in the core of an uplifting project. This permits them to escape from their medicalised universe and to project themselves into the future through world discovery and the cyclists' eyes. 5 volunteers will propose to the children to interact with us via internet. Networking with similar projects What means «Solidarity»? For you, for us, for them. During our trip, the meetings that we have planned or those inccured by chance, will lead us to exchange on the topic of solidarity and discover other projects and initiatives that bring hope. Gathering and inspiring the dreams of Children Gathering the dreams of children in all the countries we pass through, starting with our own respective countries. Through their images and creative outputs, we hope to evoke a message of hope. How? We will ask the children, through any medium, to share their dreams.
