3 Application Instructions Admissions Procedures: Your application to Lipscomb University cannot be processed until each of the following documents have been submitted. The application, as well as all submitted documents, becomes the property of Lipscomb University. An Application is considered complete when we have received: A completed and signed application. You may use this paper version or apply online at admissions.lipscomb.edu/apply. Please ensure that all questions are completed in full and the personal statement boxes are checked. A word essay. You may submit your essay on the form in this packet or online at admissions.lipscomb.edu/essay. A $50 non-refundable application fee. Official ACT, SAT or TOEFL scores.* Our institutional code for ACT is 3956; for the SAT it is Lipscomb accepts your highest ACT composite score or SAT Critical Reading plus Math score, but cannot combine scores from separate tests. You may request an evaluation from a teacher, principal, guidance counselor or other school official online at admissions.lipscomb.edu/referencerequest or ask your evaluator to submit the form in this packet. *Transfer Students with over 60 credit hours are not required to submit these items. Next Steps (once you have been admitted): Scholarships and Financial Aid. It is recommended that you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at as soon as your family receives all of their tax information. The results should be sent to Lipscomb (Code ). For fall admission, the FAFSA should be submitted after January 1 but preferably before February 28. Enrollment Deposit. You must confirm your intent to enroll at Lipscomb by submitting your enrollment deposit by May 1 (fully refundable until May 1). Housing Application. All students are required to live on campus unless they are married, age 21 or over or living with parents. To reserve your space, submit the housing application and housing fee. Requests are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. The housing fee is fully refundable until May 1. Health Record Form. All students are required to provide a record of immunizations and medical history. Return the Health Record Form to the address on the form. Admission is not final until this form is received.
