3 Order Placement Procedures Handling Fees All shipping and handling charges are added to your invoice, FOB San Jose, California. If shipping is charged to your shipping account number, a Handling Fee is not added to your invoice. All ground shipments will be assessed a Handling Fee of $0.35 per $100 of order value ($150 maximum). All air shipments will be assessed a Handling Fee of $0.50 per $100 of order value ($150 maximum). All orders less than $1,000 will have a flat fee of $3.50 for ground shipments, or $5 for air shipments. Minimum Order Charges All orders under $250 net must be place through the RAE Systems B2B site. Any order under $250 net that is placed through Inside Sales, will be accessed a $50.00 Minimum Sales Order Fee. Special Discounts All Special Discounts need to be stated on Purchase Order accompanied by a Special Pricing Form from your Regional Sales Manager. Lead Times* Standard lead time for products in the Wireless price guide is shipment 72 hours after receipt of order (exceptions below). SolarRAE, WEATHERPAK, BioHarness, PlumeRAE, and Homeland Responder lead time is 2 weeks. For quantities greater than 5 units, please contact factory for lead times. Hot shipments (RED) may be expedited by 24 hours for a surcharge (contact factory). *All above commitments are based on availability of Finished Goods Inventory Restocking Fees, Duplicate Orders, Shipments We accept purchase orders via fax or . Your account will be assessed a restocking fee of 20% of the order s total amount, plus shipping charges to return any orders (this includes duplicate orders). All sales are final. No returns without a RAE Systems issued NSRMA# (Non-Service Return Material Authorization Number). No returns after 30 days from the date the order is shipped from RAE Systems. Special discount need to stated on PO with documentation. For every order as to which we agree to accept a return, your account will be assessed a restocking fee of 20% of the order s total amount, plus shipping charges to return any orders (this includes duplicate orders). All sales are final. No returns shall be accepted without a RAE Systems issued NSRMA# (Non-Service Return Material Authorization Number). Any returns received without an NSRMA# will be rejected and returned to sender. No returns will be authorized and no NSRMA#s will be issued after 30 days from the date the order is shipped from RAE Systems. RAE Systems must receive returned material within 30 days of the date the NSRMA # is issued. Product must be unused, in the original RAE Systems packaging, and must include all accessories, documentation and any other parts. 4 How to use our Product Configurators Unique Part Number AreaRAE products have a unique, 10-digit part number. The first three or four numbers the Product Code identify the product. For example, all AreaRAE Steel part numbers begin with 038- W. The 10-digit part number: XXA - XBCD - EFG Product Code Feature Groups The next six numbers the Feature Groups - let you configure the product. You use these numbers to tell us which sensors, battery packs, accessory kits, etc., are to be used to build the specific product you are ordering. Building a Part Number using the Configurator Using the Configuration page for the AreaRAE, let s build a part number: Step 1. Find the Product Code. As you can see, down at the bottom of the page, the product code for the RDK Steel is 03A-W Step 2. Select an option (8, or 9) from Feature Group A Write down the price for the option you selected (e.g., Feature Group A, option 8 (Stainless Steel Housing) = $221.00) Step 3. Select an option (0, 1, 2, 3, or Z) from Feature Group B Steps 4 7. Select one option from each of the remaining Feature Groups C through G and write down the option number and the price. Step 8. Use the guide to write the final, correct Part Number. Total up the cost of each Feature Group option. That s it! You ve built a product number and calculated the cost. 6 Rapid Deployment Kit RDK System Packages include both an RDK Host Kit and an RDK Detector Kit. Customers requiring more than 4 AreaRAE monitors can purchase one RDK System Kit and additional RDK Detector Kits. For example, a customer ordering one RDK System Package and 2 additional RDK Detector Kits would receive one RDK Host Kit and 3 RDK Detector Kits with a total of 12 AreaRAE monitors. RDK Host Kit Options: The standard RDK Host Kit is a ruggedized military spec laptop preloaded with ProRAE Guardian. The laptop comes with touchscreen and embedded RAELink Host modem. It also has shock and vibration shielding and comes with an IP-54 rating. This rugged controller can be programmed in the field to interface with other local AreaRAE networks. Alternative to the Ruggedized laptop is a standard laptop preloaded with ProRAE Guardian housed in a Pelican case. The case also includes the RAELink host modem and antenna assembly. All of the components can be charged inside the case. 9 AreaRAE Monitors AreaRAE and AreaRAE Gamma Model PGM-5020 & PGM 5120 Wireless, Multi-channel, Compact and Easily Transportable Multi-Gas Monitor The AreaRAE is a one-to-five sensor gas detector equipped with a builtin wireless, RF (radio frequency) modem that allows the unit to communicate and transmit readings and other information on a real-time basis with a remotely located base controller. It is a multi-sensor instrument that can include a Photoionization detector (PID) for parts-per-million measurement of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), a Gamma radiation detector, an LEL, O 2 sensor and up to two electrochemical toxic gas sensors for measurement of specific toxic substances such as CO and H 2 S. AreaRAE is approved for use in Class I Division 2 hazardous environments. A personal computer with ProRAE Guardian is the base station for an AreaRAE system. The standard ProRAE Guardian software used to control AreaRAE systems is capable of monitoring the input of up to 64 remotely located monitors. AreaRAE monitors can be equipped with optional GPS capability allowing users to know the exact location of the monitor.
