This class is intended to provide an opportunity for open and robust discussion of diversity and the related matter of affirmative action, using a range of contemporary writings representing different perspectives. We ll look at issues like whether there is evidence that diversity benefits an organization, what does diversity really mean, how do the mechanisms that promote diversity in an organization actually work, and why is there such a taboo around the issue of diversity.
