1 IKEA FAMILY Terms and Conditions IKEA FAMILY membership is required to be eligible for IKEA FAMILY benefits. Your IKEA FAMILY card or temporary card must be presented at time of purchase to take advantage of member offers and benefits. IKEA FAMILY member prices are maximum prices valid until 1 September 2015 unless otherwise stated (e.g. Time limited offers). Prices and benefits are applicable in NSW, QLD and VIC only. All items are advertised in good faith to be available at time of sale. However, unforeseen manufacturing, supply or delivery problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable. While great care has been taken to ensure accuracy of all prices and descriptions, IKEA reserves the right to correct errors or misprints and adjust prices, especially for GST, customs duty or other statutory charges that are out of our control. All delivery, assembly and installation services are charged separately. IKEA may change, cancel or suspend IKEA FAMILY benefits at any time. Charity donation 10c is donated to charity every time you swipe your IKEA FAMILY card at a kiosk or at a check-out in store. The maximum donation amount is $150,000 per annum. All charities are reviewed on an annual basis. Donations are split between UNICEF and local state charities. The local state charities up to 31/08/13 are Bear Cottage (NSW), YoungCare (QLD) and Berry Street (VIC). From September the new local state charity will be HeartKids Australia for NSW, VIC and QLD. Of the 10 cent donation, 5 cents will go to UNICEF and 5 cents to the local state charity. IKEA FAMILY members can change these preferences if they wish to donate the full 10 cents to either UNICEF or HeartKids. IKEA FAMILY free Store to Home Insurance If you are an IKEA FAMILY member and you swipe your IKEA FAMILY card when you purchase your products, your products will be insured against accidental damage during your journey home, even if you are taking them home in your car. The benefit applies to all IKEA products purchased in any one transaction where the IKEA FAMILY card is swiped. Articles found to be damaged during your journey home will be replaced on a like for like basis. You must present your IKEA FAMILY card together with your receipt when returning any damaged item. IKEA FAMILY members have 90 days from the date on your receipt to return any item damaged during transit.

2 You will be offered a replacement item on a like for like basis or a refund card to the value of your original purchase. This benefit is in addition to any other separate insurance provisions you may have and is in addition to your statutory rights, without prejudice. This benefit applies to items purchased in NSW, VIC and QLD only and applies only to IKEA FAMILY members. Items on the Home Delivery service are covered by the service provider's terms and conditions. Items on the Installation service are covered by the service provider's terms and conditions. Cut fabrics or custom made bench tops are not covered by the benefit as they are cut to order. Items purchased from As Is (Bargain corner) are sold on an as seen basis and are not covered. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This policy is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights under Competition and Consumer act Extended 12 month Returns Policy If you are an IKEA FAMILY member and you swipe your IKEA FAMILY card when you purchase your products, our standard 90 day returns policy is extended to 12 months from date of purchase. If you change your mind, return your purchase unused, with its original packaging within 12 months of purchase. For a full refund we need a receipt, but if you don't have it, we can at our discretion, give you a Refund Card for the value indicated by our returns system. Sorry we can't accept returns on cut fabrics, unwrapped mattresses, pillows & quilts, kitchen appliances, goods ordered to your specifications (custom made bench tops) or products purchased from the As Is (Bargain Corner), if you change your mind. Exchanges and refunds can be given where goods are faulty (other than any fault that was clearly communicated to you, or which ought to have been revealed by an examination of the product, at the time of purchase), wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you or don't do what they are supposed to do. Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these Terms & Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms & Conditions is invalid. Entry into the promotion is deemed to be an acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. 2. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Directors, management and employees of the Promoter and its related companies are not eligible to enter this promotion. Entrants under the age of 18 years must seek permission from a parent or guardian prior to entering the promotion. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize may be awarded to the winner s nominated parent or guardian. Whilst employees of the promoter may not enter, the immediate family of employees are eligible to enter. 3. The promotion commences at 12.00am AEST on 25/08/14 & closes at 11.59pm AEST on 23/08/15 ( Promotion Period ). 4. To be eligible for entry in a draw participants must visit a participating IKEA store and swipe their IKEA FAMILY Card. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. 7. One weekly draw will be made from all eligible entries received nationally, equating to 52 weekly draws in total. 8. All entries received between 12.00am and 11.59pm from Monday to Sunday of each week will be entered in the applicable draw. 9. The draws will take place on the Tuesday following the Weekly Close Date (except in the case of Draws 17, 18 & 19 see table below for details). All draws will be conducted at MDSA, Ground Floor, 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089 at 2.00pm (AEST/ADST). 10. Value of all prizes awarded during this Promotion is $13, The prize will be sent to the winner using registered post using the details included on their IKEA FAMILY Card account (the Promoter takes no responsibility for any incorrect details included in an entrant s account). 15. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw a prize in the event of any entrant being unable to satisfy these competition conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. If any prize remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will conduct further draws, as required, at the same time & place as the original draw/s on 09/12/15. The winner/s will be notified in writing within 2 business days of the draw. 16. Prizes are not transferable & cannot be taken as cash except as provided. The prizes must be taken as described and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as described. The prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. 17. Prize values are correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prize. 18. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 19. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting any prize is the responsibility of the winner. 20. Promoter s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 21. In the event that any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter s reasonable endeavours to procure it within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value. 22. The winners agree that the Promoter may use their name and photographs of them for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and that the Promoter will own copyright in any such photographs and in all material incorporating the photographs. 23. Prizes will only be delivered or supplied to residential dwellings in Australia. 24. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the

8 promotion), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. 25. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize. 26. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter. 27. By entering the promotion, each entrant agrees in addition to the above uses, that the Promoter may disclose entrants personal information, to State and Territory lottery departments, the winners names will be published as required under the relevant lottery legislation and the Promoter may publish or cause to be published the winners names and suburb in any media. 28.
