3 HIJIS Mission & Vision Pupukahi I Holomua Unite in order to progress Mission The mission of the HIJIS Program is to facilitate collaborative decisionmaking, coordinated planning, and cooperative implementation among justice agencies and relevant partners for the fair, efficient, and effective operation of the justice system. Vision The HIJIS Program envisions statewide services via a common architecture to securely and efficiently share appropriate information, both locally and nationally, for justice and non-justice purposes, for improved public safety and homeland security, while respecting the privacy of citizens.
