ELECTRICITY PRICING INFORMATION GLOSSARY OF BILLING TERMS: The Government of Ontario requires all electricity distributors to issue standardized bills to their low- volume consumers, such as residential consumers and small businesses. The standard electricity bill shows a glossary of terms, messages about conservation, and historical consumption data so consumers can track their electricity use. This format is consistent across the province. Please see the backside of your bill for a detailed description of the terms and payment options each of Wyse s customers has. This list shows the terms that appear on electricity bills and what they mean: Electricity This is the raw cost of the electricity supplied to you during this billing period and is part of the bill subject to completion. The electricity consumed is multiplied by the adjustment factor. When electricity is delivered over a power line, it is normal for a small amount of power to be consumed or lost as heat. Equipment, such as wires and transformers, consumes power before it gets to your home or business. The adjustment factor accounts for these losses. The Local Distribution Company actually supplies your electricity. Wyse is a 3rd party billing and administration company that provides the electricity to you at no mark up. For a breakdown of the electricity rates and charges please see below under Wyse s Electricity Pricing Information. DISTRIBUTION COSTS: This component covers the costs the Local Distribution Company incurs in delivering electricity to your home or business. This charge is made up of the following components, which are approved by the OEB (Ontario Energy Board) for each utility; Delivery CUSTOMER SERVICE CHARGE: This monthly (per 30 days) charge covers Wyse s administrative costs, such as meter reading, billing, re- verification, customer service and maintenance of accounts. It is a fixed cost that is, it does not change with the amount of electricity used. The customer charge may increase from time to time as per the OEB. DISTRIBUTION CHARGE: These are the costs of delivering electricity from generating stations across the province to your utility then to your home or business. This includes the costs of building and maintaining transmission & distribution lines, hydro towers and poles, and operating local electricity systems. The distribution charge varies every month with the amount of electricity used. TRANSMISSION COSTS: This component covers the costs of delivering electricity from the generating stations to the Local Distribution Company along the high- voltage transmission system (also called the transmission grid). Transmission costs vary every month with the amount of electricity used.

Regulatory charges Debt- retirement charge The following charges are made up of the costs of administering the wholesale electricity system and maintaining the provincial grid. These fixed charges are imposed by the Province of Ontario, and are approved by the OEB. This charge is made up of the following components; WHOLESALE MARKET SERVICE CHARGE: 0.56 /kwh: This per kwh charge covers the cost of services provided by the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). The IESO, previously known as the Independent Electricity Market Operator, operates Ontario's competitive electricity market, where electricity is bought and sold. This 0.56 /kwh charge also includes a $0.001 per kwh charge for Rural and Remote Rate Protection, which all customers pay to offset the higher cost of distributing electricity to consumers in rural and remote areas of Ontario. The Wholesale Operations Charge is collected, without mark- up, by Wyse and passed on to the Independent Electricity System Operator STANDARD SUPPLY SERVICE CHARGE: $0.25 /30: This $0.25 /30 days charge covers the administrative costs incurred by the local distribution company in providing electricity to Standard Supply Service customers. Electricity that is bought from the local distribution company - instead of from a licensed electricity retailer - is called Standard Supply Service. This 0.7 /kwh charge has been set by the Ontario Ministry of Finance to pay down the residual stranded debt of the former Ontario Hydro. Wyse collects this charge, without mark- up Effective January 1, 2011, the Government of Ontario has taken 10% off your electricity bill - including electricity costs, regulatory charges, the debt retirement charge and taxes Ontario Clean Energy Benefit The Ontario Clean Energy Benefit takes 10% off the cost of up to 3,000 kwh/month of electricity use. You will receive the Ontario Clean Energy Benefit on every bill for the next five years as our province continues to build our clean energy future. The Ontario Clean Energy Benefit applies to electricity charges incurred as of January 1, Some exceptions apply. For information on the Ontario Clean Energy Benefit, please visit the Ontario Ministry of Energy s website or call ) ELECTRICITY PRICING & PAYMENT INFORMATION: REGULATED PRICE PLAN (RPP) Effective November 1, 2011, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) introduced two- tier electricity pricing for customers on the Regulated Price Plan. The two- tier pricing is reflected in the charges for electricity usage. If you're on Regulated Price Plan Tiered Pricing, your consumption in kilowatt hours (kwhs) is separated into two price tiers under the government's Regulated Price Plan.

For residential customers, the price threshold (the amount of electricity consumption that is charged at the lower price) will change twice a year. The price threshold will be 1,000 kwhs per 30 days during the winter season (Nov. 1 - Apr. 30) and 600 kwhs during the summer season (May 1 - Oct. 31). This allows consumers to use more electricity at a lower price in the winter. The OEB indicates that it will review and possibly change the RPP prices every six months, on November 1st and May 1st. The current rates for residential and small commercial customers is set out in the chart below: Winter (Nov 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015) Residential Consumers Non- Residential Consumers Price /kwh Up to 1,000 kwh Up to 750 kwh 8.8 More than 1,000 kwh More than 750 kwh 10.3 REGULATED PRICE PLAN - TIME OF USE (TOU) PRICING (only applicable on certain buildings) 14 /kwh Highest Price (On- peak) 11.4 /kwh Mid Price (Mid- peak) 7.7 /kwh Lowest Price (Off- peak) If you're on Time- of- Use rates, your consumption in kwhs is separated into three periods. will be charged 14 cents per kwh in the Highest Price (On- Peak) period, 11.4 cents per kwh in the Mid- Price (Mid- Peak) period and 7.7 cents per kwh in the Lowest Price (Off- Peak) period. Both the Regulated Price Plan (RPP) Tiered Pricing and Time- of- Use Pricing cover the cost of electricity purchased on your behalf. The Time- Of- Use rates are the fixed electricity prices, Wyse passes this cost through to you, without mark- up and pays it directly to our suppliers. TOU Prices Winter November 1, 2014 April 30, 2015 Times TOU Period TOU Price Weekends & Holidays Weekdays All Day Off- Peak 7.7 /kwh 7:00 am to 11:00 am On- Peak 14 /kwh 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Mid- Peak 11.4 /kwh 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm On- Peak 14 /kwh 7:00 pm to 7:00 am Off- Peak 7.7 /kwh

2) OTHER BILLING CHARGES/FEES Account Set- Up Fee Security Deposit Late Payment Charge Description This is the cost for establishing a new energy account with Wyse. This cost also includes reading the meter on your move in day and reading the meter when you move out. A security deposit will be charged to each Wyse customer. The charge of $ is based on 2.5 times the average hydro bill. The security deposit can be waived in half if the resident chooses to sign up for the pre- authorized payment plan. Security deposits shall not constitute payment of an outstanding account, in whole or in part, and shall only be applied to amounts owing on a Wyse account when the account is closed, before Wyse initiates any disconnections due to non- payment or otherwise in accordance with Applicable Laws. Security deposits will be refunded when the account is closed or when the customer has demonstrated a good payment history with Wyse for a minimum period of 1 year for residential customers or 5 years for non- residential customers. Interest shall accrue monthly on security deposits commencing upon receipt of the total deposit required. The interest rate on such security deposits shall be at the average over the period of the prime lending rate set by the Bank of Canada less 2 percent. The interest accrued shall be paid out (including by application to the customer s account) at least every 12 months, upon a refund or application of the security deposit or upon closure of the customer s account, whichever comes first. Upon final billing of an account, security deposits will be applied to the final bill, and any remainder will be refunded to the customer Bills are payable in full by the due date (i.e., no earlier than 16 calendar days after the bill was issued); otherwise, overdue interest charges will apply. Where a partial payment has been made by the customer on or before the due date, the interest charge will apply only to the amount of the bill outstanding at the due date. Fee $50.00 for Residential $100 for Commercial $ for Residential Waived to $75.00 when you sign up for pre- authorized payment $ for Commercial Waived to $ when you sign up for pre- authorized payment 1.5% of the outstanding amount monthly.

NSF Fee Disconnect/Recon nect Fee During Office Hours (8:30 am 4:30 pm) Disconnect/Recon nect Fee After Office Hours (4:30 pm 8:30 am) Meter Dispute Fee Collection of Account/Field Collection Charge An NSF (non- sufficient funds) charge will be charged if the payment does not clear the bank. A fee will be charged upon disconnection of a metered service based on a customer request, or for non- payment of arrears during office hours. The unit will be disconnected only after the resident/commercial tenant receives reminder notices as well as a disconnection notice. A reconnect fee will be charged upon the request for reconnection of a meter that was previously disconnected for arrears during regular hours. A meter will only be reconnected once the arrears are paid in full. A fee will be charged upon disconnection of a metered service based on a customer request, or for non- payment of arrears after office hours. The unit will be disconnected only after the resident/commercial tenant receives reminder notices as well as a disconnection notice. A reconnect fee will be charged upon the request for reconnection of a meter that was previously disconnected for arrears after office hours. A meter will only be reconnected once the arrears are paid in full. Metering inaccuracy is an extremely rare occurrence. Most billing inquiries can be resolved between the customer and Wyse without a meter accuracy test. However, upon the request of a customer, Wyse will conduct a meter accuracy test. Wyse will charge the customer a meter dispute fee, if the meter is found to be accurate. Wyse, however will refund the fee and make necessary adjustments to the customer s bill if the meter is found to be inaccurate. Either Wyse or the customer may request the involvement of Measurement Canada to resolve a meter dispute. If the customer initiates the dispute, Wyse will charge the customer a meter dispute fee. If the meter is found to be inaccurate and Measurement Canada rules in favour of the customer, Wyse will refund the fee and make necessary adjustments to the customer s bill. This charge applies when a 7- day disconnection notice is delivered to a customer for an outstanding account. A collection of payment may or may not take place at this time. OR When Wyse needs to dispatch a field agent to the service location to collect a payment on a customer's request. $25.00 for the first occurrence and $50.00 for each subsequent. $65.00 $ $ $25.00
