1 National Flood Assistance Programs

2 National Flood Assistance Programs The recent floods that have caused wide spread devastation across Queensland have had a significant impact on individuals, small businesses and primary producers. Federal and State Government responses to the crisis have been swift and a wide range of funding initiatives have been launched, to compliment already existing programs. We have compiled a guide detailing all the funding programs that are available to those affected by the floods. We have listed the grants and loans according to whether they are being funded by the Federal or State Government, then by their relevance to individuals, small business or primary producers. For information on schemes being offered by local councils, please contact your council directly. The guide also refers to some of the existing drought funding programs. While this may seem a strange fit, these programs actually offer assistance in exceptional circumstances and these circumstances have now been broadened to include the recent floods. For more detail on your eligibility for any of the schemes or to make an application, please contact the relevant department or program provider, whose details we have listed at the bottom of each program.
