1 Positions & Responsibilities Committee The role of the committee is to meet on a needs basis to ensure the running of the club for the term of office. Each committee position will be elected at the Annual General Meeting for a term of one year. Each Committee member has voting rights. : The role of the is to be responsible for all aspects of the running of the club. Duties include; chair of committee meetings, oversee that the Omega Constitution is upheld and all policies, guidelines and audits are adhered to. Update certificate of currency annually for club insurance, public and product liability Overseas Presentation day, sponsorship, grading of players each season, medal nominations annually and chair committee and Annual General Meetings. : The role of the Vice is to assist the in all aspects of the running of the club. Duties include; formulating and publishing newsletters (4 annually) overseas KDNA duty day rosters, and source and liaise with club photographer for team photos each season. Secretary: The role of the Secretary is to address all correspondence on behalf of the club. Duties include formulating and distribution of agenda and minutes for committee and match committee meetings in a timely manner. Booking of venue/s for all meetings and to address all correspondence that comes to the club on behalf of the committee. Addressing and forwarding on all enquires to the Omega Netball Club to relevant Office bearers : The role of the treasure is to manage all expenses and income for the Club. Duties include; preparation of financial statement for each committee meeting and oversee annual financial audit and prepare report for Annual General Meeting. Registration Officer: The role of the is to manage all payments and payment plans of registration fees for each season. To collate and submit all KDNA team sheets by required date, VNA registrations, proof of age for new players at the start and during the Autumn and Spring season. Prepare registration forms for each season and disseminate to all coaches. Formulate data base for coaches and match committee. Distribution of medical / indemnity forms, to all coaches, drink bottles & socks to new players. Report to the committee of all transactions associated with registration at the start of each season to the committee. 1 of 2

2 KDNA Representative: The role of the KDNA representative is to attend KDNA meetings on behalf of Omega and report back to the Omega N.C committee. Duties include booking of training venue and organising key collection for training, booking of BBQ fundraising day with KDNA and to ensure that Omega Netball Club adheres to the KDNA By laws. Maintain Omega page on the KDNA website with the KDNA webmaster. Equipment Manager: The role of the equipment manager is to manage all equipment including position patches, training bibs and coach s shirt. Duties include; prepare coaches kits for the Autumn season and collect kits at the end of the spring season. Undertake audit, source and order equipment annually. Report to the committee at the start of each season. Uniform Manager: The role of the uniform manager is manage all Netta, Netball uniforms and Hoodies and coaches shirts. Duties include; distribution and collection / reimbursement of deposit fee for Netta uniforms at the end of each season. Manage the sale of uniforms for all players each season. Contact non returning players for donations of uniforms each season. Collect Coaches shirts at the end of the year and disseminate to coaches at the start of the following year. Maintain an audit of stock held and place orders for uniform in readiness for the following season. Report to Committee at the start of each season. General Committee Members The General Committee may have 4 or more members, 4 with have Voting rights. This will be determined at the first committee meeting held by the committee post the Annual General Meeting General Committee members duties include: To lead a working party ie: fundraising, events, sponsorship, Tournaments. General Committee members are responsible for setting up of working parties and report back to the Omega Netball Committee. Working parties Any member of the Omega netball community can join a working party. Working parties will be formed for specific purposes designated by the committee for a specific task. The role of working parties is to meet on a needs basis to make recommendations to the Committee for the purpose of the task the working party was established. Working parties decisions must be ratified by the Committee. 2 of 2
