3 The PADI Master Scuba Diver Minimum Age: 12 yrs. The prestigious rating of Master Scuba Diver is the highest certification for recreational divers. Prerequisite: PADI Rescue Diver with 5 PADI Specialty certifications. Additional application fee submitted to PADI for this certification. PADI Divemaster Course: $475 + Crew Pack Minimum Age: 18 yrs. College Credit: 2 credit hours. This is the launch point for career opportunities! Western Divers LTD. will review applicants for candidacy. Candidate must demonstrate watermanship abilities, academic proficiency & complete internship. Includes: instruction and internship. Additional fees for course materials: Approximate cost $300. Also additional fees to PADI for membership, insurance, and certification processing. PADI Assistant Instructor: $375 + Crew Pack Minimum Age: 18 yrs. This internship is highly recommended for instructor preparation & PADI IDC-IE. Includes: Instruction during internship. Diving below 60 feet is considered deep diving. Want to explore the ocean s deeper reefs, or perhaps an ancient shipwreck? Local training conducted with altitude considerations. Certification Dives: 4 dives over 2 days. Full Face Diver: $150 Minimum Age: 18 years old This specialty is intended to teach proper use, special skills and safety procedures for wearing a full face mask as well as added benefits of communications capabilities. 5 Ice Diver: $225 Minimum Age: 18 years old Pre-requisite: Dry Suit Specialty Explore our local environment with great visibility under the ice! Extend your diving season! This course is a safe, supervised introduction to ice diving. Certification Dives: 3 dives over 2 days. Search & Recovery Diver: $150 + Crew Pack Minimum Age: 12 years old Home Study!! Learn how to locate items and to safely rig and lift them. Expand your navigation skills (Underwater compass required). Use of lift bags provided. Certification Dives: 4 dives on 2 days. Wreck Diver: $150 + Crew Pack Minimum Age: 15 years old Home Study!! Course is intended as a supervised intro to wreck diving, with emphasis on fun and safety. Instruction specific to techniques, problems, hazards and excitement of diving on wrecks. Certification Dives: 4 dives on 2 days. Medical Courses Emergency First Responder: $105 No Minimum Age Learn basic CPR, First-Aid and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use. Includes: Instruction, Certification, Manual, & Med Supplies.
