Other standards and certifications can be considered Voltage Regulators SX440 AVR - Standard With this self-excited system control main stator provides power through the automatic voltage regulator (AVR) to the exciter stator. High efficiency semiconductor accumulation AVR ensure positive initial low levels of residual stress. The output of the exciter rotor is fed to the main rotor through a phase bridge rectifier full wave. This rectifier is protected by a surge protector surge caused by a short circuit. Windings and Electrical Performance All generator stators are wound to 2/3 pitch. This eliminates Triple (3rd, 9th, 15th edition...) harmonics in the voltage waveform and is found to be the optimum design for smooth supply of nonlinear loads. The 2/3 pitch design avoids excessive neutral currents sometimes seen with higher winding steps when parallel to the network. A fully connected damper winding reduces oscillations during parallelism. This winding, over 2/3 and carefully selected pole and tooth designs, ensures very low waveform distortion. INSULATION The insulation system is class "H" All components are impregnated with materials and processes specifically designed for providing a high thickness required for the windings and high static mechanical strength required for the rotating components.
