Examples of installations Video door entry, automation and burglar alarm Row house The example shows the integration of the automation and burglar alarm system with the Sound System video door entry system, all controlled by the flush mounting control unit with LCD monitor (the corresponding surface mounting control unit has similar characteristics and the same functions). The control unit allows the user to see and talk to the caller via the external plate, and to open the lock; there is also a flush mounting speakerphone in the kitchen for communications and lock operation without the need to use the central control unit (this is handy if the apartment is large). The kitchen also has a flush mounting video camera with which allows the user to monitor the room through the central control unit. The system controls all ing and window blind functions; the user friendly menus displayed on the monitor enable the user to control room temperature, as well as all scenes and automation functions. The latter also controls the burglar alarm system, including the volumetric and perimeter sensors via the contact interface; the external connector activates/deactivates the system as programmed (total or partial) by means of the transponder key. Finally, the phone dialler not only sends alarms to the programmed numbers, but can also be used for remote activation of set scenes, temperature control, device diagnostics, and so on () 01801; 0194; 01808; 01809; 01845; ; () 69, 69S separator; 69D distributor; 69AM audio/video interface; 658 additional power supply outdoor plate

Examples of installations Video door entry, automation and burglar alarm Residence The example shows the integration of the automation and burglar alarm system with Due Fili video door entry system, all controlled through the flush mounting control unit with LCD monitor (the corresponding surface mounting control unit has similar characteristics and the same functions). The control unit is installed in the entrance and enables displaying and communicating the caller and then open the electric lock. In dining room and in the basement room is installed a speakerphone, that enables the intercommunication between the two rooms and the control unit; the entryphone enables, in addition, replying to the calls from the outdoor plate and opening the entrance electric lock. In dining room is installed the touch screen that, through the touch of the displayed icons, manages all home functions as ings, rolling shutters, climate, scenes and the burglar alarm system. The burglar alarm is managed by the control unit, the touch screen and the digital keypad installed in the entrance; the GSM phone dialler sends alarm signals to the pre-set number, remotely activates the set scenes, controls the temperature of different areas and checks, with diagnostics functions, the correct operating of the entire system () () 01801, , 01845, , , 01830, 0194, 69, 693 separator, 69D distributor (3) T

Examples of installations Video door entry, automation and burglar alarm Scenes controlled by the burglar alarm system The example shows the interaction between the burglar alarm and the automation systems with Sound System video door entry, totally controlled from the flush mounting control unit. This interaction enables the burglar alarm system, via the control unit, to activate a given scene. Switching on the burglar alarm system can thus close all window blinds and house s, as well as lower the internal temperature to a programmed value. When the user returns home and deactivates the burglar alarm system, the in the lobby can be switched on. Furthermore, during the user s absence, the control unit can switch on and off the stair, lobby and desk s at individually programmed intervals to simulate the presence of the owner. The set scenes can also be controlled remotely via the communicator which also notifies the owner of intrusion alarms, etc., via sms or vocal phone messages. The house s and window blinds can also be controlled via their respective buttons or even using the infrared remote; all the scenes are controllable from any comfortable position (such as seated on the sofa). Through the control unit it is possible displaying and communicating with the person who has made the calling by outdoor plate; the speakerphone, installed in the kitchen, enables the communication with the outdoor plate and the activation of the electric lock of the entrance () () outdoor plate ; () 01801; 0185; ; 01941; 01848; 6680 ; 6560 voice module
We create a scene which lowers the window blinds, turns off all s and lowers the temperature to a desired level (deactivate/turn down the climate control system). We now create five programs: - program 1 which calls up the above scene when the burglar alarm system is turned on; - program which turns on the floor lamp in the lobby when the burglar alarm system is turned off; - program 3 which turns the stair s on and off at different intervals; - program 4 which turns the floor lamp s on and off at intervals different from those of program 3; - program 5 which turns the desk lamp on and off at intervals different from those of programs 3 and 4; Programs 3, 4 and 5 will be activated/deactivated by the user via the control unit and will run for the time the user is absent (hours, days, etc.). 7 Examples of installations CCTV, automation and burglar alarm Loads and technical alarms The example shows the case of a home in which, along with the automation functions, burglar alarm and video surveillance. Through the automation system, we also need to control loads according to a timetable and manage technical alarms like gas and water while, with the CCTV it is possible, through video cameras, watching over the rooms. The system load control function of the By-me system can be used to determine at which times of the day one of more of the 8 groups dedicated to load control will be activated or switched off. This requires us to create a special weekly timetable function which indicates at which time of the various days of the week the loads must be turned ON and OFF. The timetable does not affect in any way the primary function of load control. It is also possible to program buttons to force the loads ON or OFF independently of the programmed settings. The phone communicator, connected directly to the BUS, allows the user to get alarm messages (whether intrusion or technical, including gas leaks, flooding and so on) from a vocal phone message or sms. The environment control sensors which handle technical alarms connect to the BUS via the contact interface and /or radiofrequency. During programming (Loads menu) the priorities with which the loads are to be disconnected in case of overload can be set. The button control is combined with each single load to force disconnection independently of the set priority. This thus creates a weekly timetable program in which the days and timing of the load control function are set N 040.N 0490.N 0535.N N + () N N 0514.N 0550.N N 01855; () 01801; N; 0194; 01845; ; 1 V d.c. ; 4 V d.c. 049.N N

Examples of installations Video door entry, automation and burglar alarm and Media Center Villa with Vimar application for Microsoft Media Center The example shows the integration of the automation and burglar alarm system with the Sound System video door entry, all controlled by TV thanks to the Vimar application for Microsoft Media Center. The automation system allows controls and scenes associated with it to be managed whereas the burglar alarm system signals, through the flush mounting dual-technology and radiofrequency detectors, the intrusion alarms. The GSM phone dialler sends an alarm voice message or SMS to pre-programmed phone numbers. The GSM phone dialler also allows the remote activation of pre-set scenes, climate control (activation/deactivation/programming), diagnostic devices, etc. The By-me system is managed through the TV in the living room thanks to the Microsoft Media Center application installed on a dedicated computer; the computer is connected to the BUS by means of a special RJ11 socket and an interface (supplied as art ) whereas the video entry system is connected directly to the computer by the F type socket and RCA cable. So that the system can be managed by means of the Media Center application, once the installer has downloaded the database from the control unit with the EasyTool programme and has configured it with the MCConfig system, he proceeds with the registration process so as to obtain the activation code B 051; B; B B PC Media Center ; ; 039.B; 0318.B ; 053..B; 0536.B B () 01801; 01845; ; ; 01808; 01809; 6680 ; 6560 speakerphone; 6554 distributor. 11 Examples of installations CCTV, automation and burglar alarm Weather and video surveillance The example shows the integration of the automation and the Due Fili video door entry system, all controlled by the flush mounting control unit. There is also a second flush mounting monitor where the CCTV module is installed to provide video-surveillance both inside and outside the house. During the summer, storms can seriously damage awnings which have been left open, and flooding can result from open skys. The use of an anemometer and hygrometer combined with the By-me system provides protection from such undesirable events. As mentioned above this case, the central control unit integrates the automation system with the video door entry system which includes two speakerphone for answering calls directly from the nd floor and the kitchen (in other words, when the user is not near the central control unit). These panels have two NO buttons that allow communication between entry phones and between an entry phone and the central unit. The CCTV system is made up of three flush mounting video cameras that watch the bedrooms (a very useful application for watching over children) and two external cameras to watch the surroundings; a multiplexer lets the monitor display the images coming from each camera. We create two scenes: - scenario 1: opens the skys and lowers the awnings; - scenario : closes the skys and raises the awnings. We create two weekly timetable programs: - program 1: which calls up scene 1 everyday at the set time only if the anemometer or hygrometer is not sending any signal to the contacts interface; - program : which calls up scene everyday at the set time whenever the anemometer or hygrometer is sending a signal to the contacts interface ; () 0185; ; distributor; () ; separator; 4 V d.c. ; 1 V d.c. ; (3) () outdoor plate Outdoor video camera Outdoor video camera 574

Examples of installations Video door entry Residential complex with Due Fili video door entry system The example shows a typical video door entry installation in a residential complex using the Due Fili system. The entryphone enables the user to see and communicate with whoever has made the call from the external plate and, once the main door lock has been actuated, also turns on the. Each apartment is also fitted with a speakerphone for talking to the external plate, the call intercomunicating with video entryphone (thanks to NO push button) opening the electric lock and turning on the stair ; this type of installation allows the user to answer calls even when he is not right next to the speakerphone, but more distant from the house. At the entrance to each apartment, finally, there is a call button and a video camera with which allows the user to talk and see the caller in the building corridor from the internal entryphone or video entryphone; this is handy when the main door has been left open anyone can walk in, or when other residents are calling from inside the complex S separator; 69 ; 69AM audio/video interface; 658 additional ; 69D distributor. 17 Examples of installation Automation Apartment with, rolling shutters, climate and load control In the example, the By-me flush mounting -module control unit is being used to control temperature, s, shutters, PA system and loads management. The climate control system has been split to deal with three separate areas: the living area, the sleeping area and bathrooms each of which is managed by a solenoid. In the living area, temperature control is managed by the control unit that also manages two thermostats. Each area has a relay on the actuator that manages the solenoid. Central heating timer settings are saved in the memory of the control unit. If necessary, temperature settings can be changed directly on the thermostat. During programming (load management menu) the priorities with which loads are to be disconnected in case of overload can be set. Button control is linked with each individual so as load to force disconnection independently of the set priority. In the apartment shown here, it will also be possible to create a scene that we call awakening that, thanks to a specially designed programme will turn s on and play background music at a set time. The following programmes will be created: Scene 1 will activate the background music and s. Programme 1 that will activate Scene 1 at a set time. 19 Examples of installation Automation, burglar alarm and video door entry A villa with Vimar application for Microsoft Media Center. The example shows the integration of the automation and burglar alarm system with the Due Fili video door entry system, that are controlled by the flush mounting control unit with LCD monitor and by TV thanks to the Vimar application for Microsoft Media Center. Through the touch screen installed in the nd floor, it is possible the control of the main functions (i.e. s, rolling shutters, climate, scenes, load control and burglar alarm) of the whole system. The automation system manages controls and scenes associated while the burglar alarm system signals intrusion alarms and, activates the appropriate emergency services by means of a relay-operated actuator. The GSM phone system sends the alarm signal to preprogrammed phone numbers. The alarm message can be a voice or text message; the GSM phone dialler also allows the remote activation of pre-set scenes, setting temperatures within the house (activation/deactivation/programming), diagnostic devices, etc. The By-me system is managed through the TV in the living room thanks to the Microsoft Media Center application installed on a dedicated computer; the computer is connected to the Bus by means of a special RJ socket and an interface (supplied as art ) whereas the video entry system is connected directly to the computer by the RJ11 socket and interface. Through Media Center it is possible to display on TV the images filmed by the video camera 0565.N, installed in the baby room. So that the system can be managed by means of the Media Center application, once the installer has downloaded the database from the control unit with the EasyTool programme and has configured it with the MCConfig system, he proceeds with the registration process so as to obtain the activation code. 21 Examples of installation Automation and CCTV for tertiary sector Shop with automation, burglar alarm and videosurveillance The example shows the case of a shop where the automation, burglar alarm and video-surveillance systems are managed by the By-me control unit. In this application, the system enables the opening and closing of the shop window shutters as well as temperature control at set times during the working day. The burglar alarm system is made up of dual technology infrared and with shock sensors for the windows detectors. The CCTV system is connected to a multiplexer and DVD-R to display and record images to deter theft and robberies. The window shutters are controlled by two rocker push buttons while the temperature is controlled directly from the thermostat. A scene that closes the window shutters (control from 0185 actuator), turns off the boiler (through solenoid relay) and switch off the shop ing is created. We create weekly timetable programs program 1 (general ON), set for working days, that, just before the shop opening, activate the shutters and turns the central heating boiler on as well as the s in the shop. program, set for working days, that just after the shop closing, closes the shutters, turns off the central heating boiler as well as the s in the shop. 23 Examples of installation Automation for tertiary Conference room Multi-media systems are more and more often being fitted to conference/meeting rooms. In this case, the By-me system enables s to be turned on and off or dimmed and blinds can be raised or lowered along with the projection screen. An infrared remote control can be used for all these tasks and this means that just one person can manage the entire system with ease. The blinds can be raised and lowered from within the conference centre. The central group and those to the side of the stage can also be turned on/off and dimmed from the room itself There are 4 scenes created: The conference scene that turns on all the s on the stage and to the side, raises the blinds, lowers the screen and dims the central group to 30% of maximum intensity The projection scene that dims the s on the stage and to the side to 0%, lowers the blinds, dims central group to 30% and lowers the screen The meeting scene that raises the blinds and the screen, turns the central group up to 100% and dims the s on the stage and to the side to 0%; The general OFF scene that turns off all the s, raises the screen and lowers the blinds. The four scenes are managed also from the four buttons on the infrared remote control, by means infrared receiver. The blinds and s can be contolled through simple push button and the climate through the fan coil controlled by thermostat (4) 01856; 01853; ; (3) 01854; (3)

Examples of installation Automation, burglar alarm and access control for tertiary Office block This example shows how the automation and burglar alarm of the By-me system are easy to integrate with the access control system via Bus. This guarantees security by dividing the office space into zones and floors. Each employee has his personal transponder key which gives him access to the building from the main entrance and to his office; each office is equipped with a thermostat for temperature control as well as ing and rolling shutter control. Every office window has flush mounting magnetic contacts that are linked to the control interface; should a window be left open, the interface sends a signal to the control unit that then turns off the central heating (energy saving mode). When the burglar alarm system is activated from the guard room using a button control, the rolling shutters are closed, the s turned off and the climate control system is deactivated (turned down). The lift is fitted with a button which, in case of malfunction, sends an alarm signal to the communicator to avoid people remaining trapped inside the lift for an extended period of time (such as when the acoustic alarm can not be heard because everyone else has already left the building). The reception desk is fitted with a button for turning the audio in the waiting room on and off SL () 01801; 01845; ; 0194; CONFERENCE ROOM SL SL SL CONTROL ROOM SL SL SL OFFICE SL 1447.SL SL 1449.SL OFFICE SL SL () SL SL RECEPTION SL LIFT 1447.SL SL 588
We create a scene which turns off the s in all offices, closes the rolling shutters and turns down the climate control system (general OFF). We then create a program which, when the general OFF scene is called up, turns on the burglar alarm system. The burglar alarm control unit turns off the alarm system (which might be used, for example, to activate the climate control system). A second program is screated, when the signal from the control interface is sent (i.e. the window has been left open), turns the central heating system for that particular office off. The NC lift button is connected to the I1 or I inputs (configured as technical alarm) of the contacts interface in the burglar alarm system. 27 Examples of installation Automation, burglar alarm and video door entry for tertiary Shared office block In a service centre, it may happen that more than one company shares a given building and hence the same guard room. In this case, we install independent By-me systems for controlling the s, temperature, rolling shutters and burglar alarm system of the two companies which, given a number of small additional installation features, can both be controlled from the guard room for turning off all s, the climate control system and shutting the blinds. The system is equipped with a landline phone dialler which uses vocal messages for notifying the user of alarms, external entry panel calls (in common with the video entryphone system of the other companies), for displaying and answering calls in the central control unit and managing the entryphone panel. The entrance of each company is equipped with a digital keypad which can be used by the office manager for turning the alarm system on and off; whenever the alarm system is turned on, all services in the office are switched off, and when it is turned off, the climate control system is turned on COMPANY "B" COMPANY "A" T GUARD ROOM outdoor plate () 01801; 01845; () ; ; () 69 ; 0194; 693 separator; 69D distributor
The guard room is equipped with a button control derived from each individual system so as to enable centralized closure of the rolling shutters, turning off s and the climate control system according to the timetable set by the various companies. For each company we create a scene which turns off all s, closes all rolling shutters and turns off the climate control plant (general OFF scene). We now create two programs: program 1 which calls up the general OFF scene when the burglar alarm system is turned on; program : which activates the climate control system group when the burglar alarm system is turned off. The NO button on the hands-free entry phone enables communication between the reception desk, the manager s office and the conference room.
