1 DUAL DEGREE PROGRAMS One of the special features of Brown s MSW program is the opportunity to seek degrees in two professions at the same time. A dual-degree program always takes longer to complete than a conventional MSW program. Each school participating in these joint-degree programs honors its basic requirements while making accommodations for those who choose to earn two degrees. To enter a dual-degree program, you must apply separately and be admitted to each school. At the successful conclusion of the dual-degree program, you receive degrees from both institutions. 1

Students in the program enroll for approximately three semesters in social work and approximately three semesters in business. Students are required to complete 45 credit hours in the School of Business and in the School of. The School of Business recognizes 15 credit hours of courses from the School of for the MBA Degree, and the School of recognizes 12 credit hours of courses from the School of Business for the MSW degree.
