Introduction 1.1 General Description Pretec P " SATA Solid State Drive (SSD) is designed to allow installation into a standard 2.5 form factor that is electronically, mechanically, and software compatible with existing SATA interface. P6000 offers 550MB/s* read and 520MB/s* write speed and achieves up to 60,000 burst/20,000 sustained random write IOPS. P6000 features a built-in ECC function that supports error reporting, automatic error detection and correction, the integrity and safety of data stored on P6000 can be expected. The wear-leveling technology can average out the write cycles on each cell over time, thereby eliminating frequent writes to the same flash cell and extending its serviceable lifespan. The wear-leveling algorithm can effectively prevent performance and flash cell degradation, giving P6000 better reliability and a longer lifespan. Unlike traditional SSD, P6000 attributes extremely high performance, premium reliability & durability, and superior ruggedness as compared to traditional HDDs and other SSDs available today. P6000 targets various 2.5 high-end commercial applications such as server storage systems, high-end workstations, high-end desktop & laptop systems, and enterprise workstations, it is also suitable for portable consumer products such as notebook computers. * P GB tested with ATTO benchmark.
