6 Preventive measures to minimise risk & negative implications of potential investment «over-supply» & ensure balanced sectors absorption capacity Cabinet of Ministers decision: Taking into account the expected increased intensity of EU funds real money flow - investment opportunities & need for balancing investment demand and supply, including workforce availability and capacity in various sectors (especially in construction), Ministry of Economics, in cooperation with the involved line ministries and sector specialists will conduct an analysis on the total public and private investment flow in Latvia in coming years, as well as on the availability of needed resources and influence on the market price, quality, while analysing risks for overheating of the market. Based on the analysis, the ministry of Economics will inform the government until December 31, 2016 about the conclusions and specific proposals for needed actions, in order to either prevent or mitigate overheating risks and to balance optimal investment flow. 6
