3 Location Friendly town Bundoran, popularly known as Ireland s Premier Seaside Resort and Surf Capital, is located on the shores of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and set against a backdrop of the majestic Ben Bulben mountain range. This is an ideal place to live, visit, or simply to relax. Bundoran and the surrounding area offers a wealth of activities and facilities to suit all tastes. Lively nightlife for Adults Annual festivals in and around Bundoran provide excellent opportunities for international visitors to make friends easily. These include Sea Sessions, Rory Gallagher Festival, October Country Music Festival and Ballyshannon Folk Festival to name but a few. With many traditional Irish pubs offering live music, nightclubs and restaurants, it is easy to find something to do during the evenings. Whichever course is chosen, Bundoran provides a good base for travelling around Ireland. Students can easily visit some of Ireland s major cities and cultural sites. 4 About Us Established in 1989, we have over 25 years experience in providing high quality English courses and integration into Irish culture for international students, professionals and other non-native speakers. High Quality: The school is recognised by the Department of Skills for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language and QQI (ACELS). We are also a member of MEI-RELSA. Individual Attention: We offer individual attention to each student. As welfare is an important feature of the school, the best possible support is given at all times. Students are invited to approach the in house coordinators or adminintrative team with any queries they may have. Continuous Feedback: In order to ensure that each customer is happy with the services provided, we carry out a feedback questionnaire every Friday. This helps us immediately address and resolve any issues which may have arisen.

5 Junior Courses English and Horse Riding: Perfect for the student looking to improve both their English and Horse Riding in a fun, relaxed and safe environment. English and Surfing: With some of the best waves in Europe, Bundoran is a great place to learn or improve your English and Surfing. English and Multi Activity: This action packed programme is suitable for students who wish to try a wide range of activities including surfing, kayaking, raft building, team building games, nature, seaside explorations, high ropes etc Junior Mini Stay: The Junior Mini Stay programmes are tailor-made to suit each school/groups needs. The programme can include a cultural and historical programme as well as a wide range of activities. Available September to May.

6 Junior Courses High School Programme: We provide academic semesters in conjunction with Magh Ene College Bundoran. The High School Programme is open to students aged years who wish to learn English and immerse themselves into the Irish culture and way of life. 7 Adult Courses We offer a range of courses that have been carefully designed and prepared to meet the needs of students to help them learn and enhance their English language skills. General English: Specially designed and conducted for students to grow in confidence and develop their knowledge of good, practical English. Intensive English: The Intensive English course is dedicated to providing improvement in the core language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Intensive Examination Preparation: Specialising in IELTS, Cambridge FCE and CAE exams, we offer 4 week programmes dedicated to examination preparation and practice. One to One: One to one classes are completely tailor-made to suit the students exact learning needs. One to One classes can be combined with any of the listed programmes.

8 Adult Courses English and Surfing: Combined General English programme with surfing programme suited for beginners to intermediate surfers. English and Horse Riding: Combined English and horse riding programme. Suited for people with some riding experience. English and Hill Walking: Combined English and hill walking programme. Discovering the hill walking delights of counties Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim and Fermanagh. Family Package: Pick and choose from the programmes provided to suit you and your family.

9 Accommodation Junior Residential Accommodation The residential accommodation consists of a number of spacious 4 bedroom houses. The facilities of the house include 4 bedrooms, 3 to 4 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, sitting room and all mod cons. One minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean, three minutes walk from the school and 15 minutes walk from the town centre. Where possible our student coordinator ensures nationality mix in each house which aids English language learning and cultural awareness. Breakfast is provided in the residence. Lunch and dinner in the school canteen. Host Family We offer carefully selected host families that provide a warm Irish welcome and a home from home experience. Host families are within 5 15 minutes of the centre. All families are police vetted, inspected and interviewed by our school. Breakfast and dinner are provided with the host family. A warm lunch is provided at the canteen. Rooms are single or shared with another student from a different country.

10 Accommodation Adults Residential Accommodation The superior residential accommodation is situated less than one minutes walk from the Atlantic coast, 5 minutes from the language school and 5 minutes walk from the town centre. The accommodation offers en suite rooms with a well equipped kitchen and sitting room. Private or shared rooms are offered. Continental breakfast is included. Full board is optional. Host Family We work with a select number of host families that provide a home from home experience. Students who opt for host family have breakfast and dinner with the family every day. A private room is also offered with the family. Holiday Homes We also have a range of quality two, three and four bedroom holiday homes to offer families coming to stay with us during their visit to the west coast.

11 Social Programmes and Excursions To ensure that students enjoy their stay with us, we organise regular activities, social and cultural events including: weekly cultural excursions to destinations such as Glenveagh National Park, Queen Meabh s Grave and Sligo town, Slieve League, Lisadell House, Parks castle, Marble Arch Caves and Derry City. Juniors Evening activities include creative workshops, water activities, Gaelic football, bowling nights, cinema, discos, team building, t-shirt making, treasure hunts, etc. Adults Adult activities include traditional music, nights out, mini outings, horse racing, nature explorations, water activities etc.
