2 The old life Verse 1. Ephesians 2:1 NKJV And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

3 Verse 2. The old life Ephesians 2:2 NKJV in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, Galatians 6:8 NKJV For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 5:24 NKJV And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Galatians 5:16 NKJV I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

4 Verse 2 continued. The old life Romans 12:2 NKJV And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 1 Peter 2:24 AMP By His wounds you have been healed. Isaiah 54:17 ESV no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.

5 The old life Verse 3. Ephesians 2:3 NKJV among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

6 Verse 4. Ephesians 2:4 NKJV But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, Romans 5:8 NKJV But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

7 Verse 5. Ephesians 2:5 NKJV even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), Romans 7:4 NLT So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the One who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God.

8 Verse 6. Ephesians 2:6 NKJV and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 1:22-23 NKJV And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, (23) which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Colossians 2:10 NKJV and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. 1 John 4:4 NKJV You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

9 Verse 7. Ephesians 2:7 NKJV that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:10 NKJV And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8:21 NKJV because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Hebrews 11:33-35 NKJV who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, (34) quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 11 Verse 8-9. Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, (9) not of works, lest anyone should boast. 1 Peter 1:9 NKJV receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls.

12 Verse 10. Ephesians 2:10 NKJV For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Philippians 1:6 NKJV being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; Acts 10:38 NKJV how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 1 Corinthians 10:31 NKJV Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
