It will be available at the bookstore in Burgos. *About 50% of our instruction time will take place in field trips, monuments, cultural sites and museums and the other 50% in the classroom. CITIES WHERE WE WILL LIVE AND TRAVEL - Santander - Burgos - Madrid - Salamanca - Bilbao - Santillana del Mar, Comillas, Altamira MEALS - All your meals in Burgos and Santander are covered every day (breakfast, lunch and dinner, including week ends) FIELD TRIPS AND ACTIVITIES - We will live in Burgos for the first two weeks (June 25 th July 8 th ) at the Residencia San Agustín and in Santander for the last two weeks (July 8 th - July 22 nd ) at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo, Residencia de la Playa (Beach Residence). - Burgos (June 25 th - July 6 th ): o Learn how to dance flamenco (workshop at the Dance Studio of Blanca Sainz) o Go to a bullfight (if dates coincide) o Have a paella night in a great restaurant o Teach some of our classes in different monuments o Visit; Cathedral Monastery of Las Huelgas, Center of Modern Art, Church of San Nicolas Archeologycal Museum, Castle

2 - Field trip to Salamanca (June 30 th - July 1 st ): o Visit the Old and New Cathedrals o Climb to the towers and roof of the New Cathedral o Visit the oldest university in Spain o Walk around the famous Plaza Mayor o See several Renaissance palaces, convents and churches o Explore the Art Deco Museum o See the Roman bridge from the 3 rd Century o Enjoy the most emblematic college town in Spain. o Spend the night in a beautiful hotel downtown o Taste the Spanish gastronomy in a delicious brunch at our hotel - Field trip to Madrid (July 6 th, 7 th, 8 th ) o Visit the Museo de Prado, one of the top museums in the world, and see Velázquez, El Greco and Goya paintings. o Visit the Royal Palace o Visit the Museo Reina Sofía, which houses Picasso, Dalí and Miró painting along with many other works of contemporary painting. o Attend a flamenco show. o Spend the two nights in a nice hotel down town and enjoy brunch at the hotel both days - Santander (July 8 th - July 22 nd ) o Palacio de la Magdalena o Cathedral o Santillana del Mar o San Vicente de la Barquera o Altamira caves o Caves of El Castillo o Museum Menendez Pelayo o Fundación Botín o Art Galleries Fair o And the most beautiful beaches in Spain -Field trip to Santillana, Comillas, Altamira (July 13 th ) o Visit the Altamira Caves o Colegiata de Santillana o Capricho of Gaudí - Field trip to Bilbao (July 19 th) o Visit the Guggenheim Museum JUNE
