4 OUR AMBITION: TO BE THE FAVOURITE INSURER OF CRÉDIT AGRICOLE CUSTOMERS Pierre DERAJINSKI Chairman, Crédit Agricole Assurances A PROVEN MODEL Pierre DERAJINSKI / Crédit Agricole results are on an upward trend. Crédit Agricole is now the leading European bank by net banking income in its business lines and leads the way among the French banks on all its different markets. We cannot but express our satisfaction at these results that are a sign of the Group s good health. With revenue of 26.4 billion in 2013, insurance is the Group s N 2 business, making it a signifcant contributor to this success and confirming the strength of our bank insurance model. CA Assurances is the N 1 european bank insurer. Jérôme GRIVET / In 2013, the p e r f o r m a n c e a c h i e v e d b y C A Assurances in France in life insurance Insurance is certain to be a major contributor to the Crédit Agricole Group s strategic plan, for there is no other business line that is as fully integrated and transversal in the Group. Pierre DERAJINSKI and savings was quite outstanding. On a market that recorded total net inflows of 11 billion, the share of CA Assurances alone represented 4 billion. With an increase of over 6% in revenue to 2,638 million, general insurance business outperformed a market that recorded overall growth of just 3%. Creditor insurance with revenue of 992 million is holding up well in a difficult context. Our move to add to our business in consumer loans by diversifying into real estate loans with LCL has proved to be a successful one. International business is showing good results, in particular in Italy, Japan and Poland. STRATEGIC AMBITIONS THROUGH TO 2016 Pierre DERAJINSKI / To build on these results and consolidate its leading position, the Crédit Agricole is proposing a plan through to 2016 to achieve its ambition: to become the European leader in retail banking services. It is structured around four main areas: innovation and change in retail banking, synergy in income, international growth and risk control and quality in OUR AMBITIONS FOR 2016 Increase LIFE INSURANCE ASSETS UNDER MANAGEMENT BY OVER 10% Boost revenue in HEALTH, PERSONAL RISK AND CREDITOR INSURANCE BY OVER 12% Achieve OVER 29% GROWTH in revenue in GENERAL INSURANCE, by providing a specific response for the agricultural world

CA Assurances is ready and prepared to support this growth, with ambitious objectives: increase outstanding life insurance assets by over 10%, boost revenue on healthpersonal risk and creditor insurance by over 12%, grow general insurance revenue by over 29% by offering a specific response for the agricultural world, and continue its growth on the different international markets by developing creditor protection insurance partnerships. Jérôme GRIVET / We will be building on the specific strengths of our three main business lines in France and abroad: life insurance/savings/ pensions, health/personal risk/creditor insurance and general insurance. In savings, we will be boosting our business with highnetworth clients through product innovation. In personal risk and health cover, we will be rolling out a comprehensive range of group insurance for businesses, from the smallest firms to the largest corporations. In creditor insurance, we 11 billion net inflows in France will be proposing a dedicated offering for the Crédit Agricole regional banks. In general insurance, our aim is not only to increase the number of bank network clients who hold at least one policy, but also to increase the average number of policies held per client. Internationally, we will be working to keep our business at the same level of 17% and will be focusing our efforts on Italy. Today, our business model is tried and tested, our fundamentals are strong and our teams are fully mobilised and focused on innovation. More than ever before, the satisfaction of our customers is our key concern. Our ambition is to make the Crédit Agricole the favourite insurance company of its customers.
