The Right Coverage Valuation provides an estimate of what it would cost to rebuild your home today, and includes a clear explanation of what goes into our calculation, as well as the items that do not. We offer an appeals process in the event that you have any questions or disagree with the cost estimation. The PURE Member Advocates provide personalized concierge-level assistance to fulfill any recommendations made in the report, and to help you take additional steps to protect your home and family. The Discount Dashboard offers a snapshot of all available premium credits and a record of those you have qualified for. Our Discount Discovery Guarantee states that any discounts we discover during the PURE60 visit will be applied back to the last transaction on your policy. Detailed Documentation, including photos, diagrams and notes, helps ensure a more seamless experience in the event of a future claim. 4 Home Health Scorecard Assessment During our visit, we evaluated the overall vulnerability of your home to loss and, if appropriate, identified steps you can take to better protect your home and family. The following information is intended to provide you with a rating of your home s overall strength and protection, as well as a breakdown of its protection against water damage, fire, and internal and external hazards. On the following pages, we have identified specific things you can do to reduce the vulnerability of your home. If we have identified a serious concern it will be noted as a requirement and you will need to take action. 5 Home Health Scorecard Below are steps you can take to reduce your home s vulnerability to loss or damage. Requirements: You will need to take action. When you have fulfilled a requirement, please notify your agent or Member Advocate. During our inspection of your home, pre-existing water marks were noted on the dining room ceiling/wall. A licensed professional contractor can be hired to inspect the area to determine the cause of the problem, complete corrective measures and restore the area back to its original condition. Please notify your agent once the work has been completed. Insurance statistics indicate that rubber washing machine hoses are one of the leading causes of water damage in homes. They have an average life span of three years and can dry, crack and eventually break. Since most homeowners do not shut off the water lines to their washers, they are always under pressure and when they rupture, water immediately flows. If the leak goes undetected for any length of time there could be significant damage to your home and furnishings. In order to reduce your susceptibility to water damage you can replace the rubber hoses with steel braided hoses. Steel braided washing machine hoses can be purchased at any hardware store and easily installed. Please notify your agent once the work has been completed.

6 Home Health Scorecard Recommendations: Smart advice to better protect your home. Fulfilling these recommendations may also qualify you for additional premium discounts. During our inspection, we noted that debris was accumulating in your gutters and drains. This buildup of debris could potentially allow water to get behind the siding or under the roof resulting in damage to your home. A licensed professional contractor can be hired to clean your gutters and drains of all debris to prevent possible damage to your home. Please notify your agent once the work has been completed. The large tree(s) in close proximity to your home could lead to injury or property damage as the result of falling limbs. A licensed professional tree service company can trim the dead and/or overhanging branches and could provide regularly scheduled maintenance for the trees on your property, if desired. Our calculations are based on national estimating software and data gathered in cooperation with local contractors. The cost to build your home today takes into account the following: Building a single home with like kind and quality materials and workmanship within a reasonable time frame. Contractor profit and overhead. Industry standard is 0% for profit and 0% for overhead. Architect, engineer and other specialty contractor fees, such as interior designer or lighting consultants. Foundation costs. Cost to build your home to the current building codes. At PURE, we do not include costs that are provided as additional coverage in our High Value Homeowners policy, or are impossible to predict. The following is not included in the PURE Right Coverage Valuation but are covered by your High Value Homeowners Policy: Debris Removal - The cost to remove damaged property. Demand Surge - The inflated cost of supplies, materials, and labor that are highest after a natural disaster. Future Code Upgrades - Changing construction or building codes. Site Work - Work required to prepare an area for construction. Overtime Estimates - Costs that might be included to expedite construction.

8 Right Coverage Valuation PURE60 Appeals Process Our intent is to help ensure you have the right coverage for your home. If you believe we have reached the wrong conclusion, please contact us and we will be glad to review and take into consideration your viewpoint. If we can t reach agreement, a formal appeals process can be initiated. During the appeals process the following steps will be taken:. A member of PURE's Risk Management department will call you to discuss your concerns, verify the contents of the report, and gather any additional documentation.. The Risk Manager will review your appeal and let you know when you can expect a response. Once complete, you will receive a phone call to discuss the findings. If changes are made, a revised report will be generated.. If you still disagree with the findings, a panel of industry experts will be assembled to review all available documentation and provide an independent evaluation. Should you wish to utilize your own contractor for this process, PURE will contact the contractor to explain what is needed. Once all estimates are received, the PURE Risk Manager will contact you and your agent to discuss the results. Again, if changes are indicated, a revised report will be generated.

These specialists will work to identify hazardous or precariously located trees that are likely to fall in future storms. Generator Purchasing and Installation. Leading manufacturers of permanent generators offer PURE members discounted pricing and expedited installation. Your Member Advocate can help you find the right generator and expedite the ordering and installation process. Home Security Assessments. We can connect you to highly trained, premier security consultants who perform home security assessments. This service includes an examination of your house and property to identify potential safety risks that may make your home a target for predators. Fine Arts Valuation and Preservation. We have negotiated discounted rates for fine art experts who provide preservation and valuation advice for your jewelry or fine art collection. Along with our contracted experts, your Member Advocate can recommend companies and facilities specializing in the proper high-security transportation and storage of your collection. Lightning Suppression Systems. Lightning can be a source of major loss to a home s architecture and electrical infrastructure. Your Member Advocate can help you find local service providers that specialize in the installation of lightning suppression systems, designed to shield your home from lightning strikes. Water Shut-off Valve Installation. Water shut-off valves are designed to automatically stop the flow of water into your home, helping to protect it from significant water damage. These devices are often available to PURE members at a discounted rate. Hurricane and Emergency Preparation. In the event you are away from home and cannot get back to your residence during the time of an expected hurricane, your Member Advocate may assist you with emergency preparation. Whenever possible, they will work to secure the services of contractors to take measures to safeguard your home and valuables. Personal Employee Background Check. We have a preferred relationship with a national risk consulting company to provide background screening services for domestic employees at discounted rates.
