2 Dependapower DPPAT 4025 CAT-R Patterson/ 4,000 GPM The Dependapower DPPAT 4025 CAT-R is a trailer mounted, diesel driven horizontal split case centrifugal fire water pumping system. Nominal performance rating is 4, psi (10 lift). The pump and driver come mounted on a skid containing an integral 325 gallon fuel cell with level indicator. The easily detachable skid is transported on a dual-axle trailer. The 12 suction and 10 discharge headers provide minimal pressure loss for maximum efficiency. The 24VDC electrical system comes standard with two group-d batteries. Paint is basic red polyurethane finish on pump, skid and trailer. (*Not on Driver) Total Package Weight with Fuel = 15,000 lbs. Originally designed for agricultural service, now redesigned for utilization for the fire service industrial and municipal. Industrial uses (1) de-inventory water flooded areas in process areas, tank farms, etc. from flooded waterways or tropical events, (2) re-inventory water to supply fire water from restricted inventory levels, (3) gain access to water supplies otherwise not available, and (4) enhance pumping operations to make existing centrifugal pumps more effective by reducing the strain by pumping from draft. Municipal uses (1) in optimal areas, supply large volumes of water to municipal pumpers (either professional or volunteer departments) during large fire operations requiring significant support, (2) improve water shuttling operations to maintain supply needs for insurance ratings for departments, and (3) support for areas affected by flooding. Pump easily backs into any available water source of at least 2-foot depth. Features: Trailers are fitted with a 2 ball coupler, and can be pulled over the road by a ¾-ton truck. Trailers can be spotted in place (in a waterway) with same vehicle. Suggested logistical deployment would be via flatbed truck for long distances. The trailers are road legal, but would need appropriate tags and serial numbers. Trailers are outfitted with lifting lugs in the event conditions would not permit placement via vehicle (pump and motor weight is less than 6000 lbs). Visually accessible grease fittings. In field testing the large N-Hancer pump provided 9000 gpm to the pump suction of a Williams 6000 pump (Patterson package) and was demonstrated with a Ranger 3 nozzle and an Ambassador monitor results indicated a flow rate of 8,326 gpm at the monitors at 125 psi.
