3 The qualification and experience is as detailed below : QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : I. For Super Specialities 1. Upper Age Limit : 55 years Scale 1 : : AGP 9500/- (Entry pay Rs.46000/-) (i) A Medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the Third schedule to the IMC Act. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part- II of Third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act. (iii) D.M/M.Ch or equivalent qualification in the specialty concerned recognized by MCI. Experience & Publications (a) As Associate Professor in the subject concerned for three years in a recognized teaching institution. (b) Four Research papers accepted / published in index / national journal as first/second author on cumulative basis. Out of these four research publications minimum two research publications must be published during the tenure of Associate Professor. 2. ASSOCIATE Upper Age Limit : 50 yrs Scale 2: Academic Grade Pay Rs.10500/- Rs.51600/- Academic Grade Pay - Rs.9000/- Rs.42,800/- Candidates with 4 years of teaching experience as Professor (as mentioned above) will be considered for Scale 2. (i) A Medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the Third schedule to the IMC Act. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part- II of Third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act. (iii) D.M/M.Ch or equivalent qualification in the specialty concerned recognized by MCI. Experience & Publications (a) As Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the speciality concerned for two years in a recognized teaching institution. (b) Two Research papers accepted / published in index / national journal as first / second author during the tenure of Assistant Professor.

ASSISTANT Upper Age Limit : 50 yrs (subject to approval of EB) Rs Academic Grade Pay Rs.8000/- Rs.30,000/-(as per VI Central (i) A Medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the Third schedule to the IMC Act. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part- II of Third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act. (iii) D.M/M.Ch or equivalent qualification in the specialty concerned recognized by MCI. Experience Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/ Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor in a recognized medical college either during the post-graduation course/or after obtaining postgraduate degree in the subject. II. For Broad Specialities 1. Upper Age Limit : 55 years Scale 1 : Rs.9500/- Rs.46000/- Qualification (i) A Medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the Third scheme to the IMC Act. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of Third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act Experience & Publications (a) As Reader / Associate Professor in the speciality concerned for three years in a recognized teaching institution. Scale 2 Rs.10500/- Rs.51600/- (b) Four Research papers accepted / published in index / national journal as first/second author on cumulative basis. Out of these four research publications minimum two research publications must be published during the tenure of Associate Professor. Candidates with 4 years of teaching experience as Professor (as mentioned above) will be considered for Scale 2.

5 2. ASSOCIATE Upper Age Limit : 50 yrs - Rs.9000/- Rs.42,800/- (i) A Medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the Third schedule to the IMC Act. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of Third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act. Experience & Publications: a) As Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the speciality concerned for four years in a recognized teaching institution. b) Two Research papers accepted / published in index / national journal as first / second author during the tenure of Assistant Professor. 3. ASSISTANT Upper Limit : 50 yrs (subject approval EB) Age to of Rs Rs.6600/- Rs.18,750/-(as per VI Central (i) A Medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the Third schedule to the IMC Act. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of Third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act. discipline/subject Experience Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/ Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor in a recognized medical college either during the postgraduation course/or after obtaining postgraduate degree in the subject. Rs Rs.8000/- Rs.30,000/-(as per VI Central Candidates who possess three years of teaching experience after obtaining eligibility for Assistant Professor as mentioned above, will be considered for the pay scale AGP 8000; Entry pay Rs.30,000/- Medical Superintendent Upper Age limit 50 years Rs.10500/- Rs.51600/- (i) Must Possess M.B.B.S. degree with MHA/MD/MS, or MD (H.A) (ii) Must possess teaching or administrative experience of ten years in a reputed medical institution. (iii) Must have put in not less than five years of service as Chief Medical Officer.

6 INSTRUCTIONS TO THE APPLICANTS : Those who are appearing for final year examinations are also eligible to apply. However, they will be called for, to the interview, subject to production of Provisional Pass Certificate & Medical Council Registration at the time of interview. Candidates who have applied for the post of Assistant Professor, should invariably submit proof of teaching experience gained by him/her while pursuing the postgraduate course, at the time of interview. Age will be reckoned as on Retired faculty also can apply (as per MCI norms). Those appointed will be paid monthly consolidated pay. The educational qualification of the candidate should be recognized by Medical Council of India. Certificates to this effect may be enclosed along with application. Please refer MCI letter No:MCI-12(1)/2015-TEQ/ dated on clarification with regard to research publications in the matter of promotion for Teaching faculty in a medical college/ institutions. The date, month and year of passing the degree and details of experience must be given clearly to assess the experience requirement. The total experience as on the last date for receipt of application will be taken into account and must be indicated clearly. The qualifications, age, experience, shall be supported by true copies. If qualified candidates are not forthcoming, the Institute reserves the right to fill up the post at a lower level than that advertised. The Institute may increase / decrease number of posts advertised depending upon need. The Institute reserves the right either to fill up or not to fill up any or all the above posts. Candidates who have not fulfilled as per the requirement will not be called for the interview. Candidates who are already employed (Government / Any Institute) should forward their applications through proper channel failing which their application shall not be considered. Incomplete applications will be rejected. The applications may be downloaded from the website and filled in applications (as per instructions) should be sent to the Director cum VC, SVIMS University, Tirupati along with necessary enclosures (self attested), relating to qualifications, experience, certificate of birth, paper publications, and two passport size photographs on or before Applications sent through will not be accepted. Reprints of all publications have to be enclosed. Any other relevant outstanding National / International achievements in the profession supported by documents if any, must also be enclosed. If selected for interview, the candidates are required to appear for a personal interview at their cost on the date, time and venue that will be intimated to them in due course. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the institute on the eligibility of the candidates shall be final and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
