2 ZEUS IOPS SOLID STATE DRIVE ZEUS IOPS FEATURES ZeusIOPS is a unique solid state drive designed to create a storage performance revolution for enterprise applications. ZeusIOPS enables storage systems to realize outstanding, sustainable Input/Outputs per second (IOPS) to relieve performance bottlenecks associated with traditional rotating media disk drives. ZeusIOPS breathes new life into existing storage infrastructures, increases storage utilization, and reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO). ZeusIOPS eliminates the latency barriers for processors associated with rotating media access latency. One ZeusIOPS drive can easily replace multiple hard drives, eliminate the need for additional volatile DRAM, and ease the cliff-like performance drop-off moving data from DRAM to rotating media in storage systems. Dual Port 6.0Gb Full Duplex Random transactional performance up to 80,000 IOPS Sustained random or sequential large block transfers to 350 MB/s Built-in advanced wear leveling Half the power consumption of 15K HDD s Over 200 times faster at transactional performance than a 15K RPM enterprise class disk drive ZeusIOPS Solid State Drive is revolutionizing the way businesses access critical data by overcoming the performance bottleneck inherent to traditional rotating. 3 ZEUS RAM RAM DRIVE ZEUS RAM FEATURES STEC ZeusRAM Solid State Drive is a unique offering designed to deliver DRAM-like speeds in both reads and writes with the persistence of fl ash. ZeusRAM is an enterprise-class wear-resistant Solid State Drive that is targeted for high-write transactional oriented environments. These environments require fast write performance capabilities to speed up end user application throughput of NAS and unifi ed storage appliances. Built using STEC proven ZeusIOPS architecture, ZeusRAM deliver unprecedented speeds to fi le system metadata store, journaling and logging functions, database indexing and hashing operations. By reducing the time spent by appliances on fi le system related overhead, this frees up appliance to process user IO, improving fi le system effi ciency resulting in end user application speed up. The ZeusRAM come equipped with STEC Enterprise-class Data-Path Protection technology ensuring instant data backup and recovery on unplanned power failures. STEC s ZeusRAM Solid State Drive provides an integrated solution for storing critical data while eliminating the need for additional volatile DRAM, batteries and/ or UPS systems thus reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO) while improving overall system performance. 3.5 form factor DDR3 SDRAM based RAMDrive Dual Port 6.0Gb SAS host connect Low latency design for fast write commit 80,000 random read and write throughput 1GBps full duplex bandwidth PowerSafe technology provides data persistence across power failures Full data-path protection Hot plug for easy serviceability Wear resistant design for write intensive workloads ZEUS RAM APPLICATIONS High write transaction oriented environments Metadata store, fi le system journaling in NAS, Unifi ed storage appliances RANDOM READS RANDOM WRITES TRANSACTIONAL PERFORMANCE 350 IOPS 140 IOPS 80,000 IOPS ZEUS RAM SSD 80,000 IOPS ZEUS RAM SSD ZEUS RAM SSD PRODUCT NAME CAPACITY INTERFACE FORM FACTOR TRANSACTIONAL PERFORMANCE (IOPS) AVERAGE LATENCY TRANSER RATE ENVIRONMENTAL POWER SUPPLY COMPLIANCE AGENCY APPROVALS ZEUS RAM 6 Gb SAS Z4RZF3D 8Gbytes Dual Port SAS (6Gb) 3.5 Inch Up to 80,000 (Random Read) Up to 80,000 (Random Write) <20us Up to 500MB/s (Sustained Read) Up to 500MB/s (Sustained Write) 0 to 60 C (Commercial) 5V, 12V Halogen Free, Lead Free (RoHS) UL, CE, FCC, C-Tick, VCCI
