1 Fund Application APPLICATION GUIDELINES CRITERIA British Citizen or resident 9,000 per annum fees AAB at A level or equivalent (340 UCAS points) Received a UCAS firm and insurance offer from a UK university for a permissible degree course First time undergraduate OR Current undergraduate Be eligible to receive Zakat THE AWARD We provide up to 5,000 as a grant towards your university fees. This is a very competitive process and there is a strict limit on how many students we can fund. Hence, we strongly advise students to consider alternative modes of financing. Besides the financial criteria, we place considerable weight on your personal statement and interview. ABOUT FILLING IN THIS FORM You can complete the form electronically. Once completed, you may either the form with scanned documents attached or post it to us. Please provide photocopies as originals will not be returned. All information declared on the form must be genuine and complete. We will verify information where appropriate. Please note that sending in incomplete forms and omitting proof documentation will result in your application not being considered. Please remember to sign and date the declaration. WHAT NEXT? We will process each complete application and submit your case to our Zakat panel for careful consideration. Please note all decisions are final and not subject to appeal. Successful candidates will be invited for an interview. Any offer of a grant will remain provisional until results are confirmed. All payments will be forwarded directly to the university.
