1 Please read the following information before lodging your application Accommodation bursaries are to assist students experiencing unexpected financial difficulty in meeting your accommodation costs. Funds are granted subject to eligibility assistance is not on-going. Eligibility Criteria: Be enrolled as a graduate student at ANU Be enrolled as a candidate for an ANU award on a full-time basis Be able to demonstrate financial need Not be in receipt of a substantial scholarship or financial assistance from any other source over $5,000 eg Residential Hall Bursary. Recipients of the ANU Access Scholarship are still eligible. Applications are assessed and awarded at the discretion of the Committee and may include a personal interview. The Committee will determine the amount of any bursary granted dependent upon assessment of the student s need and the availability of funds. Applications are awarded on a per semester basis up to 24 weeks per semester, with the total maximum period being 48 weeks. Students are not eligible to receive more than 48 weeks of bursary assistance over the course of their graduate studies. Bursaries granted to students living in an ANU Hall or affiliated residence will be paid directly to the residence to offset the student s rent account. Please note: Lodging an application does NOT guarantee a bursary will be awarded. How to apply: 1. Print this form and clearly answer/complete all sections of this form 2. You may be asked to provide proof of any claim which you make on the form 3. Failure to complete sections or the provision of misleading information may jeopardise your application 4. Provide copies of your bank statements for the last 6 months. Failure to do so will result in your application not being assessed 5.
