1 God so loved the world John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 1

2 Romans 5:19 For as by one man s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Gods Plan of Salvation For as by one man s disobedience (Adam) many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one (Jesus Christ) shall many be made righteous. 2

3 Mark 16: 15,16 And he (Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved go into all the world and preach to gospel to every creature and whoever believes the gospel and is baptised will be saved. 3

4 The Gospel refers to Christ s teachings and message of salvation to mankind. teaches mankind how they can attain to God s offer of salvation by repenting of their sins and turning back to him. The gospel speaks of how Christ freely gave his life on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of the world- for our sins. 4

5 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. The Character of Jesus Love, joy, faith, truth, peace, patience, humility, sacrifice, kindness, goodness, obedience, selflessness, selfcontrol, faithfulness, understanding, forgiveness, compassion, courage, enthusiasm, vision, wisdom and power. 5

6 The Eight Graces 2 Peter 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Gospel of the Kingdom refers to the good news of the everlasting kingdom of God which Christ will set up when he returns to the earth. 6

7 Luke 21:25-28 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." 7

8 The Jews- God s Witnesses 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he; before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. 12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. 11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. 12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, 14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. 8

9 The Parable of the fig tree Luke 21:29 29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. A Parable "Any saying or narration in which something is expressed in terms of something else." 9

10 Zechariah 14:1-3 1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. More Signs.. Matthew 24:6-8: Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. 10

11 Far too fanciful to be true? 11

12 Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. The Return of Christ 12

13 Matthew 24: But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Baptism represents deathan association with the death of Christ. It is total immersion in water of an adult who knows and understands the gospel. What is Baptism? 13

14 Baptism is a symbolic death in water when a person go under the water and a resurrection to a new life following Christ when they come up out of the water. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. except a man be born again into a new life in Jesus through the waters of baptism, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 14

15 "For God so loved the world HE SO LOVED YOU AND ME-that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him AND IS BAPTIZED INTO HIS SVAING NAME should not perish, but have everlasting life 15
