BEST XI MALCON MALCON Filipe Silva de Oliveira Date of Birth (16) 1,75m*68Kg Right Attacking Midfielder Other(s) Left Attacking Midfielder Left Corinthians / Brasileiro U20 Current Contract Details Professional contract with Corinthians until December 2016 Estimated wage/year/net About 700 Euros / month Agent Fernando Garcia and Guilherme Miranda Malcon has always been considered a precocious talent since early age of 4 where he already played with 9 years old kids. He debuted in Corinthians in 2008, on the U11 Paulista Championship, and from there he has always been one of the most valuable players of the team. Although he stayed out past Copa São Paulo editions, with the U17 Paulista Championship title he appeared now as one of the stars of the team. Malcoln was one of the best players of this Copa São Paulo and he finished the competition as the team s top scorer with 6 goals. Maybe because of his early age he was left out by the first team's head coach Mano Menezes, but many of the Corinthians fans did not understand this decision. Meanwhile, it is guaranteed that Malcon will be a key player in the U20 team. OVERVIEW: Malcon played as a right attacking midfielder always in a formation. He revealed himself for his good anticipation and reading of the game, good movements, good decisions, excellent technique, and determination. PHYSICAL: Player with a good body relation that, with his excellent technique, allows him to sustain some strong defenders. Excellent agility and coordination with strong speed, with and without the ball, over all distances. Reasonable jumping and heading skills, that makes him struggle against strong and taller defenders. He does not have a great mindset for the aerial duels. Strong change of pace and speed, becoming a very intense player with the ball. Combining these characteristics with a good determination and will to win then we are facing an explosive player who attempts to bring the team forward and exhausting for any defender. MENTAL: Concentrated player with excellent reading of the game and anticipation. Aggressive player with a reasonable/good rate of individual and collective work. Reasonable leadership skills, but his ambition and determination can turn him into a future leader. Page 21

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND BEHAVIORS: WHEN TEAM HAS POSSESSION: Winger with good movements receiving in support, or in the depth (mainly in the left flank), and in the inside or outside corridor. However, he prefers to receive in support to create danger by dribbling or one-two plays. With excellent technique, and a reasonable good use of his body, he usually creates danger or suffers a foul, because it is not easy to tackle the ball away from him. Strong inside movement with followed shot, through pass, or one-two passing plays, he can solve a game with that movement and his good decision making. Reasonable good cross and good finishing skills, becoming very dangerous inside the penalty box, when unmarked. WHEN TEAM DOES NOT HAVE POSSESSION: Malcon has reasonable positioning and reasonable mentality and aggressiveness in pressure. He can also improve global defensive understandings, like timings and direction of pressure. DEFENSIVE TRANSITIONS: He reacts well to the loss of the ball and is usually among the first to press the opponents. OFFENSIVE TRANSITIONS: Due to his good defensive positioning and high speed he can receive sometimes unmarked. When this happens he rapidly accelerates the game by dribbling, but always with a collectively thinking, searching for the better positioned teammate. SET PIECES (Attacking): Set pieces taker he showed a good cross. (Defending): He usually was positioned in the midfield preparing the transition. When he received he tried to play to a teammate facing the game and then he went forward with good speed. Malcon was the Corinthians top scorer in this Copa São Paulo and one of the best wingers of the competition. Malcon is receiving much attention and generating high expectations, but has to remain focused in his path and work hard. If this occurs, he can become a key/important player for a good/top first division club. Page 22

BEST XI DIEGO CARDOSO DIEGO CARDOSO Nogueira Date of Birth (19) 1,75m*68Kg Left Attacking Midfielder Other(s) Right Attacking Midfielder / Forward Right Santos / Paulista A1 Current Contract Details Professional contract with Santos until December 2015 Agent Marcelo Goldfarb (Think Ball & Sports Consulting) Diego Cardoso was already a talked player before this Copa Sao Paulo and is considered as a rising star. He arrived at Santos in 2007 after 2 years in São Paulo and already has a considerable titled career. It includes, for example, U15 Paulista Champion in 2009, U20 Paulista Champion in 2012, U20 Copa Brasil Champion where he was the top scorer, Copa São Paulo Champion in 2013, and several appearances in the national team for which he was U17 South American Champion in He also signed, in November 2013, a sponsorship contract with Adidas. Diego Cardoso was the top scorer of this Copa São Paulo with 9 goals, and was probably the best player of the competition. However, despite the curriculum he already has, he seems to stay with his feet on the ground when he says that his greatest ambition is to help the Santos team winning titles in the senior level. For now he has got his senior debut in the draw against Audax. OVERVIEW: Diego Cardoso played as a left attacking midfielder always in a formation. He revealed himself for his ability to finish, good anticipation and reading of the game with killer instinct, good movements, good decisions and excellent technique. PHYSICAL: Player with a good body relation, that with his excellent technique, allows him to hold the ball and create danger in the 1v1 duels. Excellent agility and coordination with strong speed over all distances. Good ambidexterity that he can improve, but already making him an unpredictable player. Reasonable jumping, but good header. May win in the air basically by a good positioning and anticipation, because he is not able to act as a reference striker/forward strong in the air duels. Nice change of pace and speed, becoming a relatively intense player with the ball. He may disappear from the game and pass unnoticed for a time, but when he appears he wins the foul, makes the goal or create danger. MENTAL: Concentrated player with excellent reading of the game and killer instinct. He is not very aggressive and has a reasonable/weak rate of individual and collective work. Weak defensive aggressiveness. Reasonable leadership skills he seems to be a quiet, but ambitious person. Page 23

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND BEHAVIORS: WHEN TEAM HAS POSSESSION: Winger with good movements receiving especially in support, or behind the defence line after inner diagonals, with excellent technique, and playing inside or outside in 1v1 situations. He usually creates danger or suffers a foul, because it is not easy to tackle the ball away from him. Strong inside movement with followed shot, he can solve a game with that movement. Reasonable cross, but strong finishing skills, becoming very dangerous inside the penalty box, even with some pressure. Killer instinct inside the penalty box he is always at the right place at the right time. WHEN TEAM DOES NOT HAVE POSSESSION: He has good positioning, because he is usually clever in reading the game and places himself in a situation where he can track down his direct opponent or let him go so that he can receive open to do a quick counter attack. Reasonable/weak mentality and aggressiveness in pressure, he leaves, sometimes, the defensive work to his teammates. DEFENSIVE TRANSITIONS: Medium/good reaction to the loss of the ball, because sometimes he could had reacted faster and better. OFFENSIVE TRANSITIONS: Due to his good defensive positioning and high speed he can receive sometimes unmarked. When this happens he rapidly accelerates the game by dribbling, and in the last third he offers cross or finishing solution due to his good technique in 1v1 duels. He can solve a game like this. SET PIECES (Attacking): Penalty taker where he showed good composure. In the corners and free kicks he usually was in the box where he could sometimes leave it to do a short corner kick. (Defending): He usually was inside the penalty box man to man marking, but he was also, in some set pieces, inside the penalty box but in a position preparing the offensive transition through the opposite flank. Diego Cardoso was one of the Copa São Paulo top scorers and probably the best player of the competition. Diego Cardoso is included in Santo s first team and keeping this course and adapting well to this new environment he can become an important/key player for a top first division club. Page 24

BEST XI EWANDRO EWANDRO Felipe de Lima Costa Date of Birth (17) 1,76m*67Kg Forward Other(s) Striker Left São Paulo / Paulista A1 Current Contract Details Professional contract with São Paulo until May 2015 Agent Kirin Soccer Ewandro began to draw the attention of the board on the final of the U15 Paulista when the attacking units of the team were called to international fixtures and he appeared to solve the game. From then on he became one of the most valuable players. In 2013 he scored 20 goals in junior tournaments and in the Copa U17 he was the vice-top scorer and shone at a high level with a great goal against Fluminense in the semi-finals and led the team to the title. It was also in that year that he was present in the U17 World Cup with the ian team. Ewandro was one of the best players of São Paulo team, and one of the best forwards of this Copa São Paulo, where he scored 6 goals and exhibited a good level. Due to some difficulties of São Paulo to sign new players he was called to strengthen the first team but has already justified that call with his debut in Paulista A1 and also with his first senior goal, becoming the youngest player to do so since There are even some rumours of two buying proposals from European clubs. OVERVIEW: Ewandro played as a forward always in a formation. Stood out by his ability to finish, good anticipation and reading of the game with killer instinct, good movements and good decisions. PHYSICAL: Player with a reasonable good body relation, although he can gain a little more muscle that will benefit him against stronger defenders. Excellent agility and coordination with strong speed over all distances, that made him a dangerous player in the depth and in fast counterattacks when the opposing team release too much space in the back of the defence. Good ambidexterity. Good jumping and good header (scored 1 goal in a corner by a header in the near post), but wins in the air basically by a good positioning and anticipation. He is not able to act as a reference striker strong in the air duels. Nice change of pace and speed, but he is not a very intense player. He prefers to go unnoticed and appear at the right time to make the goal. MENTAL: Concentrated player with excellent reading of the game and killer instinct. He is not very aggressive but has a reasonable rate of individual and collective work. Poor leadership skills he seems to be a quiet person. Page 25

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND BEHAVIORS: WHEN TEAM HAS POSSESSION: Player who moves very well, and that feels comfortable when playing with a striker at his side. Thus he is free to move in the spaces between the opponent lines without having concern with the possible heavy central back marking. When he receives in this space he usually resolves quickly and well the because of his good reading of the game, technique and ambidexterity, and creates many danger especially by one-two plays (one more reason to play with another forward alongside him). He presents also good depth movements with diagonals between central backs and movements on their backs allowing him to surprise and gain time and space to finish. Inside the penalty box he finishes with quality. WHEN TEAM DOES NOT HAVE POSSESSION: He is not a very aggressive player in this moment of the game, leaving, sometimes, the defensive work to his teammates. He may sometimes pressure the opponents, and does it well due to his good reading of the game, but has to be more consistent. DEFENSIVE TRANSITIONS: Must improve reaction to the loss of the ball. Medium/slow reaction with almost no efficiency, and making fouls. OFFENSIVE TRANSITIONS: He is a strong player in this moment of the game because of his positioning and movements. Although he uses well his body to hold the ball he knows his physical limitations and so he usually tries to avoid the central backs marking. For that reason he tries to be positioned between the defensive and midfield lines to be able to receive without pressure. This is best performed if he is playing alongside a striker. When he receives he decides always well leaving the ball to his teammates facing the game and then going forward. If his teammates have space for a trough pass he can become very dangerous because he has speed and good depth movements with inside diagonals through the middle that place him in front of the goal (he scored a good goal in this way against Grêmio Barueri). SET PIECES (Attacking): Dangerous in the box he was usually near the near post or penalty mark to attack the ball. Scored 1 header goal and 1 from a rebound, in set pieces. (Defending): He usually was positioned in the midfield preparing the transition. When he received he tried to play to a teammate facing the game and then he went forward with good speed. Ewandro was one of the best São Paulo s players in this Copa São Paulo, and was one of the best forwards of the competition. Ewandro is already included in São Paulo s first team and keeping this course he can become an important/good player in a good/top first division club. Page 26

BEST XI STÉFANO YURI STÉFANO YURI Gonçalves Almeida Date of Birth (19) 1,87m*75Kg Striker Other(s) - (Hand for GK) Right Santos / Paulista A1 Current Contract Details Professional contract with Santos until December 2014 Stéfano Yuri signed his first professional contract at age 16 and he was on loan to Cruzeiro in Before the final Yuri said that he did not expect to have played so much, which says much of his status in the team before the competition. But he was already a veteran in this competition since he had already played it previously with Uberlândia and with Santos. Incidentally his performances in the 2012 edition, where he was the top scorer of the Uberlândia s team, and in the Minas Gerais championship, earned him a transfer to Santos in May of that year, where he would become Copa São Paulo champion in With his performances in this competition and the title of top scorer Stéfano Yuri has been called to the Santos first team for which he has already debuted in the Paulista A1 fourth round. Alexandre Gallo U21 ian head coach praised his performances in the Copa São Paulo and challenged him to maintain the level in the first team of Santos. For Yuri this Copa São Paulo was one of the last opportunities to show himself as a valid alternative to the first team and with the title in his hand at least his desire to remain at the club beyond December 2014 remains lit. OVERVIEW: Stéfano Yuri played as a striker always in a formation. Stood out by his ability to finish, good anticipation and reading of the game with killer instinct, penalty box movements and strong header. PHYSICAL: Player with a good body relation, although he can gain a little more muscle that will benefit him against stronger defenders. Despite some agility problems he is a coordinated player with a reasonable speed over medium/long distances. However, in the short ones he can lose the play because of his relatively poor acceleration, but nevertheless, he compensates it well with a good anticipation and reading of the game. Good jumping that he can improve but very strong header (5 goals). Reasonable intensity he is a discreet but deadly player. MENTAL: Concentrated player with good reading of the game and killer instinct. He is not very aggressive but has a reasonable rate of individual and collective work. Poor leadership skills he seems to be a quiet person. Page 27
