Check the college website or contact departments of interest or financial aid to receive specific awards and requirements. No application required. Once all criteria are met, eligible students are awarded this scholarship automatically. The same as admission requirements. March 1 GED First Course Award First three-hour college credit course tuition New first-time college student with a GED. Before first scheduled full day of classes. Greene County Tuition Guarantee Program Full tuition and standard fees when balance remains after all applicable grants and scholarships have been awarded Student must have completed the FAFSA, applied for MTAG and must apply for JCJC Freshman Foundation/Institutional scholarships. Awarded based on the date the completed application is received in the financial aid office, not on the individual s score. Available to first-time full-time freshmen for the fall semester immediately after their high school graduation. Must provide documentation verifying Eagle Scout/Gold Award. As soon as possible after score is received (awards made on a firstcome basis). No award will be made after the first day of class. Priority deadline for the fall semester is June 1 and for the spring semester is December 1. Eagle Awards vary Entering freshmen who graduate from high school with notable achievements in academics, leadership skills, extensive extracurricular activities, exceptional test scores and other factors that indicate academic merit or financial need. Students with an score of 21 and above will receive the Gold for $600 per semester. May/June graduates starting at MCC in the fall who are graduates of a Meridian or Lauderdale County High School as well as graduates of Lauderdale County who are home-schooled. Must have completed FAFSA and applied for MTAG & institutional scholarships. September 15 Note: Meridian Community College s may be accessed at or services/financialaid/scholarship information/index

When combined with other aid (federal, state and institutional) the amount may be reduced or rescinded. s are renewable up to 4 consecutive semesters.
