CATHOLIC QUESTIONS and SFA TRIVIA A Family Questionnaire for Confirmation Candidates Preparation for Confirmation provides opportunities for candidates to develop a deeper understanding of the promises made at Baptism by their parents, and to explore their own commitments to becoming full members of the Catholic Church. Through this preparation, they learn that the Church is a community of people, built on tradition, prayer, and sacraments. Each candidate, with help from their family, is to answer all the questions in this booklet. Where to find the answers: Information may be found in the weekly Parish Bulletin, the Bible, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Catholic Encyclopedia, our Parish & Religious Ed websites, the Resource Room in our St. Francis Center, your Religious Ed textbooks from prior years, or at your local library. Where NOT to look for the answers: The candidate may not call the parish offices for answers, or get them directly from catechists, teachers or priests.
