1 To ensure accurate measurements, please measure with a measurement tape against your body while wearing a fitted shirt, pants and shoes. Do not leave extra allowance in the measurements, leave that to us. We determine allowances based on fit selection and body types. 1) Neck Measure around the base of your neck, following the natural curve. Leave enough room between the tape measure and your neck to fit one of two fingers, depending on how tight you like your collars. Page 1 of 4

2 2) Shoulder Prior to measuring, identify the two points where your shoulder and upper arm come to a 90-degree angle. With your normal posture, measure the length between those two points (go behind your neck), following the natural curve of your back. 3) Suit & Shirt Length (Torso) Relax your shoulders. Start from the point where your neck meets your shoulders and measure straight down your torso, to your first thumb joint. It is important to let the measuring tape follow the natural curves of your chest and stomach it s not meant to be pulled tight to a straight line. 4) Chest Place the tape measure below your armpits and measure around the center of your chest all the way around your back. Check to make sure the tape measure is level on all sides and at the widest point of your chest (usually in line with your nipples). This measurement should be similar to your off-the-rack suit size (i.e., 40R = 40 chest size). 5) Back Place the tape measure below your armpits and measure around your back only. Check to make sure the tape measure is level on all sides and at the same height as your previous chest measurement. We ask for this measurement because some men are very muscular and more than half the fabric is needed to cover the front vs. the back (i.e., 40 total chest but 25 needed for front and only 15 for back). 6) Stomach Place the tape measure in line with your belly button and wrap around the center of your stomach. Check to make sure the tape measure is level on all sides. 7) Vest Length Similar to the Shirt & Suit Length but must be shorter to avoid seeing the vest when your suit jacket is on. Relax your shoulders. Start from the point where your neck meets your shoulders and measure straight down your torso, to about two inches below your waist/belt. 8) Sleeve Length Relax your arms at your sides; this measurement is a two-step process. Start from the same point as your shoulder measurement and measure to your elbow. Hold the tape at your elbow and continue to the first knuckle on your thumb. 9) Bicep Relax your arms at your sides and measure around the bicep at the widest part. 10) Wrist Place the tape between your wrist bone and first knuckle of your thumb and measure around the wrist. Make sure you leave enough extra room to slip your index finger between your skin and the measuring tape. Page 2 of 4

3 11) Trouser Length Place four or five fingers below your belly button to find your natural waist. Follow your natural waist to your right side. Measure from the right side of your natural waist down the length of your leg to the heel of your shoe. Page 3 of 4

4 12) Trouser Waist Place four or five fingers below your belly button to find your natural waist. Wrap the tape measure around your natural waist and ensure it is level on all sides. Keep in mind; this measurement may not align with the pants you are currently wearing. 13) Hips Find the widest part of your hips and wrap the tape measure around the center of your backside. Check to make sure the tape measure is level on all sides. 14) Crotch Place four or five fingers below your belly button to find your natural waist. With your finger, mark the center front and trace around to mark the center back of your natural waist. Measure between these two points under your crotch. Keep the measuring tape taught on both sides. 15) Thigh Just below your crotch, measure around your thigh. Check to make sure the tape measure is level on all sides. 16) Knee Find your kneecap and measure along the widest point. Check to make sure the tape measure is level on all sides. Page 4 of 4
