1 The dresses The empire line dress The empire line dress has a high waist under the bust. It helps minimise the waist, hides a tummy and it keeps a shapely frame. The wrap dress The wrap dress wraps and fastens to one side and can be helped with a tie, button or a belt. The wrap dress creates/flaunts curves. The V neckline elongates the torso. The sheath dress The sheath dress is a straight narrow dress without waistline seam. This dress is fitted around the waist and hips. This dress softly accentuates curves. The shift dress The shift dress has also no waistline seam either. It is straight but narrow. In comparison with the sheath dress, this dress is less fitted around the waist and hips. This dress suits better women who need to disguise a tummy.
2 The loose-fitted tube dress This dress is a comfortable and works well for a casual or evening setting. This loose-fitted tube dress helps disguises a tummy. The tightfitted tube dress however accentuates every part of her body. Therefore it is a sexier style. The tea dress The tea dress suits most shapes. The flare style of the dress emphasises the waist and makes it look slimmer. It creates a defined and curvier frame. This dress disguises bulky or skinny legs. The trapeze dress with waistline The trapeze dress is more flare than the A-line dress that has no pleats. Ideal to minimise the waist and add more shape to lower body. The ruffle dress The ruffle dress has ruffles around the upper body to add more volume to the bust.
3 The tulip dress The bubble dress is fitted at the waist, comes in different collar styles and the bottom of the dress forms a bubble. This dress is ideal to disguise a slender lower body. The full circle dress The full circle comes with or without a belt and is fitted at the waist. Fuller than the A- line shape dress because of further skirt fabric. A dress that suits most shapes. The halter dress The halter has a V neckline that elongates the torso and pleats at the bottom to accentuate or create more curves. The halter dress accentuates broad shoulders. The vintage dress The vintage dress is similar to the halter dress. However this dress has a heart shape neckline which accentuates the cleavage. This feminine dress creates a shapely body.

This casual dress is deal for woman who wants to disguise a tummy and focus the attention towards the legs and upper body. The shirt dress The shirt dress is fitted at the waist. The buttons, from top to bottom, of this dress elongates the body. The shirt pockets add more volume to the cleavage. 6 The straight skirt The straight skirt is slim, straight and fitted at the waist. Classic shape that suits all women. The pencil skirt The pencil skirt is the most body hugging skirt. This skirt accentuates curves: hips, legs and bump. This style is the sexiest skirt of all. Might not be the most appropriate skirt in the work environment. The A-line skirt The A-line skirt is fitted at the waistline and has a slight flare towards the hem. A classic skirt that suits all women. This style can disguise wide hips or creates curves on the straight frame. The flared skirt The flared skirt is similar to the A-line skirt but with more flares at the hemline. This is very feminine style and also suits all shapes.
7 The skater/circle skirt The skater skirt is made of one or more fabric circles with a hole for the waist. This skirt is very full and accentuates/create curves. Very feminine and suits all women. The longer length is called circle skirt. The pleated skirt The pleated skirt may be pleated from the top or half way. This skirt creates a sliming illusion. Ideal to minimise the width of the lower body. The ruffle skirt The ruffle skirt has the same characteristics of the tiered. To avoid if the aim is to minimise width of the lower body. Helps creates a curvier frame. The tiered skirt The tiered skirt is made of ruffles or tiers which may be pleated, shirred or flared. This dress slims down/accentuate the waist and the tiers creates a fuller shape.
8 The bubble skirt The bubble skirt gathers at the waistline and with fullness gathered into a wide or narrow hemline. It helps creates curves on a slender frame. The trumpet skirt The trumpet skirt is fitted around the hips & thighs and flares out towards the knees. This skirt accentuates/creates curves around hips & bottoms. 9 The lengths of your skirts & dresses Above the knee Above the knee draws the eye towards the legs and calves. Suits the confident women with great legs to show off. On the knee On the knee is the perfect length for a formal environment. It is more sophisticated and elegant. It draws the eye towards calves and feet Below the knee This is the most formal skirt length. Ideal for very formal environment. This length shortens the legs and must be paired with heels to avoid losing height. Doesn t suit petite women. Ankle length The ankle length is ideal to disguise unflattering legs and draw the eye towards the upper body and feet. Paired with heels is a good way to elongate the frame.
10 Mid calf The mid calf draws the eye towards the calves and the waist. If the hemline hits the widest point of the calves, it can make the legs appear thicker than they are. The hemline must hit the thinnest point of the calves. Best paired with heels to avoid shortening the frame. Skirts and dresses are the easiest pieces to wear. Our weight sometimes fluctuates. So when gaining or losing, a skirt or dress (with stretch) will still fit. However, jeans or trousers don t fit when gaining extra pounds, unless they have stretch as well.
