SENDING PARTNER: PROJECT: PROGRAMME: TERMS & CONDITIONS INTERMEDIARY ORGANIZATION DETAILS Name: Address: ONECO-consultancy & mobility Reyes Católicos, Seville (Spain) Contact Person: Frieda González Phone: (+34) ACCOMODATION You will be accommodated in shared apartments/houses in Sevilla on a self-catering, or in Families with half board or full board basis, depending of on the election chosen by your sending organization. You might be asked to share the accommodation with other members of your group, international students or the landlord. You may also be required to share your bedroom with another participant of your group depending on the type of room included in your programme. You will be responsible for cleaning your room, which should be left in the same condition as it was found on arrival. Laundry facilities will be available in the accommodation in most cases. You have the right to use the washing machine once a week. If you needed to use it twice or more, you should use city laundry. You must ask permission to your landlord/landlady before receiving any visitors. Guests cannot stay overnight. Parties are absolutely forbidden. Quiet times of flat-mates and neighbours should be respected. Smoking or drinking alcohol in your accommodation is not allowed. Should you cause any damage to the property, it will be your own responsibility to pay for costs incurred. Furthermore we would like to inform you, that you will be responsible for any extra expenses which might have been occurred by using the service of Telephone/Internet Companies, Locksmiths, Electrician, and Plumber without having asked permission to the landlord/landlady before. The sending partner, the accommodation responsible and ONECO do not accept liability for any damage or extra expenses* caused by participants. It should be kept in mind that living standards are not always as high as in your country. Accommodation can be basic, but is perfectly suitable for you, please, keep it clean and tidy. Most of the accommodations are located in old buildings in the historical city centre, therefore you should not expect to find modern facilities and this should not suppose any reason for complaints. We cannot guarantee that a public telephone will be available for your use. Wifi service is not included; we therefore recommend that you take a mobile phone with you. Participants must follow the regulations regarding the use of all accommodations scrupulously. Disciplinary action will be taken should there be any break of these regulations. At the Kitchen If you are staying with a family, either on a half-board or full-board basis, you will not be able to use the kitchen nor the fridge. However, you may ask permission to use the fridge just for small products as yogurts or soft drinks. *Extra expenses are understood as the over use of home services such as electricity (air conditioner, heat, etc), gas, water, food in family stay, etc.

If you are staying in an accommodation on a self-catering basis: you have the right to use a part of the fridge where you can store your food. You must clean all kitchen devices that you use to cook (blender, toaster, oven, etc). After the meals, please, clean the things that you have used. You have to share the purchasing of the cleaning or common use products or pay the person who bought them. If you break something (fridge, washing machine, etc) you must pay for it. In General If you damage, by omission or misuse, any object or equipment, you will be required restitution or payment of the corresponding value before the end of your stay. Even if your liability insurance covers the damages, everything will have to be solved before your departure. The landlord will visit the accommodation during the last week to check that everything is in order (in addition regular visits can be made). Cleaning of common areas is also your responsibility. We recommend to stipulate the days and/or tasks regarding the daily cleaning. In shared accommodations with the landlord, you have to contribute to the common expenses related to hygiene products (soap, toilet paper, etc.) The phone, if it is available, can only be used to receive calls and only with permission. Internet is not mandatory in ONECO accommodations. To access the Internet, please have a look at the TIPS or ask the landlord. You can also use free internet/wifi at Giralda Languague School during the whole stay. All accommodations assure your comfort and are provided with bed linens, towels, kitchen, a heater for the winter, wardrobe, study table etc. If you need to use something that is not yours, please ask for permission. As you need to leave the house clean and tidy when you leave, we recommend you to have the habit of keeping the house tidy and clean to make it easier at the departure time. Water and electricity are very expensive. Use them carefully. In case of an excessive use, you will be hold responsible of paying the difference to normal invoices. Animals are not allowed without the owner s permission. If you are asked to leave the house by the landlord/lady due to misbehavior, you have no right to a new accommodation provided by ONECO. As a consequence, we will inform your European coordinator and together we will decide whether you will continue in the programme or are expelled. A change of accommodation is only possible in exceptional cases and with the approval of ONECO. Differences in quality (e.g. distance from the centre of Seville or for equipment like internet, washing machine, TV, Air-conditioner etc) are no reason for complaint. LANGUAGE COURSE (If provided in the project) The Language Course consists of 45 minute-lessons tuition. The school will try to adapt the contents of the class to your language level. However, it is inevitable that there will be different levels of competence within the group and you will need to make an effort to follow the class. These factors need to be understood and accepted. The Language Course will be Monday to Friday, 4 lessons per day (from 9:00 till 13:00) and will be held in Giralda Center Language School, located in Calle Mateos Gago, Sevilla. We would like to remind you that both attendance and punctuality are compulsory, absence can lead to the participant being dropped out of the program. We must point out that you must try hard and make an effort to learn the language. Remember, the higher Spanish level you understand, the more rewarding your placement will be!! SOCIO-CULTURAL ACTIVITIES (If provided in the project) Cultural and leisure activities are organized twice a week by the language school and include talks, discussions on Spanish music, art, literature, tours of the sights of Seville, language exchanges, parties etc. The budget is fixed by the partner organisation and the decision for financial support for events lies in the hands of the project manager and the tutors. Attendance at the events listed in the programme is obligatory. TRANSPORT (If provided in the project) During the programme in Seville, the participants will be given transport allowance for the use of the public transport system. There are different kinds of public transport cards (tube/underground, train, bus, bike) and the participants will choose it depending on their needs. For public bus you should buy the following prepaid card: Tarjeta Multiviaje, which costs 1,50 deposit and can be charged with a minimum amount of 6 (sin transbordo) and 7 (con transbordo).

When buying the card, you should tell if you would like to have it with or without possibility to change the bus (con o sin trasbordo). In case your internship company is located in the metropolitan area of Seville, you will need to buy the metropolitan bus ticket (Tarjeta del Consorcio). Your tutors will inform you which type will be the best for you. ONECO pays only for the transport from home to the language course or internship placement, or for further educational training and the return to home if needed. If a transport card is lost, it will not be replaced by ONECO. *Very important: Please remember to always ask for a receipt/bill when purchasing the transport card. FOOD - SUBSIDY (If provided in the project) Participants living in self-catering stay will be allocated with food allowance (which is fixed by the partner organization). The first subsidy generally is paid out two weeks after the arrival and it will be repeated monthly. ONECO strongly emphasises the importance of trainees self financial support, should an emergency arise. Neither the sending organisation nor ONECO are provided with an emergency fund by the European Union, hence we are unable to offer financial support for returning trainees to their home country due to illness, family bereavement etc. However, you can ask your sending organization which eventualities are covered by the project insurance. INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT The internship programme will start after the end of the language course. During the language course, you will be interviewed and introduced to your prospect company supervisor by a staff member from ONECO. The said company has been previously selected by ONECO. If you pass the interview, the company will inform you about your tasks and daily schedule. Before the arrival, ONECO or the host company could contact you by Skype, or phone in order to find a proper placement according to your professional profile, language skills and expected tasks to be performed during the stay. Placements are subject to an interview with your prospect supervisor in the company. Some companies do not accept the trainee until they know her/ him at the personal interview. In case you are not accepted, due to your low level of Spanish or other matters, your coordinator at ONECO will take a few days to find another placement. This means that, for reasons beyond ONECO, your internship will start later than the fixed date. Your company can be located near or far from the city centre. Some companies are outside the metropolitan area; so, it will depend on the company whether you will need to use local transport or not. For some sectors (winery, agriculture etc.) you must be prepared to move to another city as some specific placements are not in Seville! This is not a reason for complaint. Participants will be expected to do the same hours as permanent staff; a normal week is 40 hours in all sectors. Split shift is also very common in Spain. Professions related to hospitality, tourism, shops etc. can also include weekends and bank holidays in the internship schedule. We would like to remind you that both attendance and punctuality are compulsory. Absence can lead to the participant being dropped out of the program. If you are expelled from a company, due to improper behavior, absence, unpunctuality, lack of interest etc., you will be automatically expelled from the programme. When internship period starts, participants are required to dress smartly (no jeans, no sporty shoes/sandals/flip flops, no piercing, no visible Tattoo, no underwear displayed, and appropriate haircut). Those dealing with bar or restaurant should bring black and white shirts (girls should take knee length skirts), and black shoes. Beware! Spanish companies do request a traditional outfit. It is important to be realistic about what can be achieved, particularly during the first few weeks as you are using a foreign language and experiencing new working practices. Therefore, an open mind and a willing disposition are essential for the internship placement in order to be successful for both parties: the placement provider and the participant. Those with limited Spanish cannot expect to be placed in positions of responsibility, until they have shown themselves willing and motivated to work and improve their Spanish. We would especially ask you to remember that whilst at the placement you are expected to behave as an ambassador for your country. Most importantly: future placements for your colleagues and friends are dependent upon your behaviour! The first weeks at the company are a process of adaptability both for you and the company staff. So the tasks can be very basic during the first days. The sending partner and ONECO will not study a change of placement unless the trainee has spent a settling- in period of at least 2 weeks in the company. If after this period, the participant asks for a change, ONECO

will study whether there are heavy reasons to consider such change. However, should it be necessary to alter a placement, this must be discussed with ONECO prior to any action being taken by the trainee. By removing yourself from a placement, before a new one has been found by ONECO, you will be responsible for losing the placement and therefore for the negative consequences regarding your grant contract. At any case, the participant will not abandon the placement until ONECO has authorised a change of placement and it has informed the participant and the former company about the date for the change. If you abandon the former company by yourself, you will have no right to be placed in another company and therefore you will be expelled from the programme. EVALUATIONS Every month we will have a meeting, in a local bar, to see how everything is going. Apart from this and during the programme period, 4 evaluations will be held at our office, at the school or by , with our evaluation responsible. If you have a problem and you need our help, you may contact us during the ONECO office timetables. We also offer tutoring hours on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Please, be informed that the evaluations are an obligatory part of the project. Hence, you need to complete them, following the programme provided before arrival. ATTENDANCE It is obligatory to attend the Language Course and your Practical Training during the specified hours. We would like to remind you that both attendance and punctuality are compulsory, absence can lead to the participant being dropped out of the program. Should illness occur, then the participant must ask for a medical certificate to validate absence. Illness must always be reported to ONECO as well as to your placement, as soon as possible. In case a change of placement has been authorized by ONECO, you are still obliged to attend your previous placement until another placement has been arranged. Failure to do so may result in the stoppage of allowances and you could even be expelled from the programme. CERTIFICATES All participants receive the following certificates: 1. Confirmation of participation at the language course (when included). 2. A certificate from the company in which he/she has performed the practical training (the participant has to request this from the placement on his/her own before the end of the programme). 3. A certificate from ONECO. 4. The Europass certificate (if requested by the sending organization). It is utterly compulsory, in order to receive the above-mentioned certificates, to attend the language course (when included), the sociocultural activities, the meetings, the monthly evaluations and the daily internship placement. If you cannot assist or should you be late, you have to inform us immediately!! Otherwise, you cannot obtain the proper certificates. The participants have the responsibility to handle ONECO all the company documents requested by the granted project (company certificate, company evaluation, Europass, training agreement etc.) INSURANCE The trainees are normally covered by the European Health Insurance from the trainee s home country, for the following risks: Accidents Death Permanent Disability Sanitary Assistance. The trainees must continue to be registered under the public health system of their home country. It is mandatory to bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), with this card you will be assisted, if needed, in the Centro de Salud (Health Center) of your living district here in Seville.

In case that the trainees are not covered by the Public Health Insurance of their home country, they have to provide themselves with a Private Health Insurance. In case you need to be assisted by a health centre or hospital you will normally have to pay the expenses in advance by asking for an invoice, which will be later given to the Insurance Company of the Home country in order to get the money back. In some cases, the private insurance must authorise the medical clinic previously. So we recommend you to ask for the insurance details before the arrival. ONECO will also cover you with a Civil Responsibility Insurance (if requested by the sending organization). Otherwise, we will need a copy of your liability insurance 2 weeks before the arrival. PARTICIPANTS ARE EXPETED TO a. Be mature enough to face the difficulties of adapting to life in a foreign country. b. Have an open mind towards new experiences and situations. They are also expected to solve daily situations by themselves. c. Take an interest in discovering new ways of life in different surroundings. d. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adaptability to different working practices. ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR It is of extreme importance to behave in a sensible and appropriate manner, showing respect for the host country's customs and beliefs. Anti-social behaviour of any description, including alcohol or drug abuse, will not be tolerated. If this happens, you will be automatically expelled from programme and you will have to refund the established fees appearing in the contract between you and your sending organization. ONECO also has the power to remove participants from the programme, if they consider that such action is justified. From the moment a participant is expelled from the programme, neither ONECO (Intermediary Organization) nor your Sending organization have any obligation whatsoever to assist you. Thus, you will need to leave the accommodation provided by ONECO and pay for any extra expenses incurred for the return trip to your home country. Neither the sending partner nor ONECO are obliged to help with any travel arrangements or costs. PROGRAMME ABANDONMENT The participant cannot abandon the programme without justified reasons. Failure to do so, in most cases, will be treated as abandonment and, in most cases, the participant will be required a reimbursement of any expenses arising as a result of such abandonment. In addition, ONECO will be entitled to recover any reasonable costs incurred by them as a result of such abandonment. This applies to persons withdrawing from the programme prior to departure, without valid reason, after having returned the Terms and Conditions. We will take into account special conditions such as persistent illness or any such similar circumstances, which are considered acceptable by ONECO. A medical certificate or other suitable evidence must however support such absence. In the event of abandonment for such reasons, the sending organisation and ONECO will do everything possible to help with the organisational aspects of a return to your country. However, all costs must be met by the trainees themselves. Should any participant quit the programme without obtaining permission from the sending organisation and ONECO, this will be treated as abandonment. The participant is also committed to answer all ONECO s or phone calls; to attend all the appointments with the ONECO coordinators and complete all the forms and evaluations requested during the programme. All these terms and conditions are an integral part of the programme and the participant is committed to accomplish his/her responsibilities. By signing this document, I hereby confirm that I agree with the above and authorise ONECO to administer this grant upon my behalf. NAME AND SURNAME SIGNATURE DATE
