The special AirBox system ensures that the stove uses air from outside and not from inside the house. This solution is particularly suitable for new homes and older homes where the existing insulation has been improved. All VARDE stoves are based on the convection system. Cold air is sucked in at the bottom of the stove and heated air is discharged at the top. The convection system ensures excellent air circulation in the room and good utilisation of the wood. All VARDE stoves with this icon have a shaking grate at the bottom of the fire chamber. When you push the handle from side to side, the ashes are pulverised and fall down into the ash pan which is easy to empty. 4 VARDE VISION DESIGN WITH A KEEN EYE ON FIRE 4 VARDE Vision not only keeps your home toasty warm but enhances it with elegant functional design. The front has a sharp profile with slanting sides which emphasise the beautiful angular lines. Together with the gentle rounding at the back, the result is an experience of design contrasts from different angles, and thus there are many possibilities for placement in a room. As if it were a flaming eye, the large glass pane in the cast-iron door gives you the impression that the fire is an integral part of the room merging with the warmth that it spreads. The large cast-iron door makes the design with a simple closing mechanism possible. Like the door, the bottom as well as the shaking grate are made of cast iron for extra durability. The stove is available both with and without soapstone. VARDE Vision was designed by Aske Korsgaard Hejlesen who is an engineer and industrial designer. The wide fire chamber allows room for pieces of firewood of up to 3 cm in length. 6 VARDE AURA The VARDE Aura range offers many possibilities in terms of design, placement and room size. The Aura range features high-quality cast iron doors, top plate, grate, base and flue. Fitting options are flexible, as the flue can be fitted either to the top or the back of the stove. The door handle is produced so that it is cool to the touch. 6 The fire chamber is ergonomically designed which makes it easy to light and clean. The heat-storing stones (accessories) in the top part of this model go on generating heat long after the fire has gone out. According to the simple principle of the larger the mass, the better the storage function, the addition of a so-called storage block to the high-quality fire chambers ensures that these stoves give off heat for hours on end. Furthermore, the hot flue gasses are lead through a storage block once more, which means lower emission temperatures and additional heat efficiency.
