2 Consultant Professional Background and Credentials 2 Since 1980, I have been actively engaged in various aspects of construction, specializing in roofing with an emphasis in trouble shooting and custom work. I am also a Votech graduate of drafting and design. In September, 2011, I attended Haag s Certified Roof Inspector program and obtained the Certified Commercial Roof Inspector certification. In the June of 2011, I attended Haag s Certified Roof Inspector program and obtained the Certified Residential Roof Inspector certification. In 2010, I attended BAMP s Certified Renovator Course to receive the designation of EPA Renovator for lead renovations. In 2003, I attended ASCR s (now and hereafter referred to as Restoration Industry Association R.I.A.) Certified Restorer course and received the designation Certified Restorer. A Certified Restorer is a professional craftsman qualified by experience and expert training to engage in all aspects of construction. As a Certified Restorer, I promise to uphold the following code of ethics as set forth by ASCR: 1. I will prepare my estimates at a fair price. 2. I will limit the scope of my estimates to the damage involved, as I perceive it. 3. I will not knowingly prepare an estimate for more or less than the restoration required without so stating in my estimates. 4. I will not enter into an agreement with property owners, insurance adjusters or subcontractors to give or receive rebates or compensation not specified in my estimates. 5. I will not discuss my prices with a competitive bidder while bidding is open. 6. I will not enter into any secret agreements to do more work for the same price, nor will I charge a lesser rate for the work done than the rate quoted in my estimate. 7. I will keep abreast of new research and development in fire, water, smoke and other related damage restoration so as to give my customer the benefit of the most effective techniques available. 8. I will keep adequate job costs and administer my company s affairs with accepted business and accounting procedures. 9. My estimates and opinions will reflect my best professional judgment and nothing else. In 2002, I attended the Indoor Air Quality Association s (IAQA) (now and hereafter referred to as American IAQ Council) Certified Mold Remediator s course and received certification and the designation, Certified Mold Remediator. As a Certified Mold Remediator, I am qualified to provide mold remediation techniques and mold remediation services. In 2002, I attended the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR; R.I.A.) through its National Institute of Disaster Restoration and Water loss Institute and received the designation Certified Restoration Technician (CRT) and certification in fire-water-smoke damage restoration , I attended several NAHB courses and received the designation, Certified Graduate Remodeler, which included certificates in: Project Management

Working with Insurance companies and all professionals associated with each claim to reach an unbiased and amicable resolution to any and all outstanding issues relating to claim. 4. Working with vendors/subcontractors to obtain fair pricing and quality products. 5. Keeping accurate records of all billable hours/items for each claim. 6. Taking photographs of each property claim for submission to client. 7. Properly operating all company equipment, computers, etc. to more efficiently and accurately complete tasks. 8. Completing all company-training seminars.

5 5 From 1997 to 1998, I was employed by FireDEX of Pittsburgh. FireDEX of Pittsburgh is a restoration contractor providing restoration services to insurance companies, Insured and businesses alike. While employed with FireDEX of Pittsburgh, I was responsible for all roofing mechanicals, general carpentry and general restoration practices as needed. During the winters of 1996 to 1997, I was employed by Executive tile as a laborer and installer of ceramic tile. From 1986 to 1997, I was self-employed as Northway roofing and Siding. My self-employment enabled me to prepare estimates, provide proper installation of roofs and siding and to be responsible for the company s sales and accounting practices. During the winters of 1982 to 1984, I was employed by JC Smith Heating and Air conditioning as an installer of form sheet metal. From 1980 to 1983, I was employed by Jalco as a roofing mechanic and laborer. From 1978 to 1980, I was employed by G.C. Murphy s as a stock boy and janitor. Education & Certifications From 1984 to 1987, I attended the Community College of - Center North and completed business management courses. In 1980, I graduated from A.W. Beattie Technical School with courses in drafting and design. I also graduated from Allegheny Academy with courses in general studies. As a Consultant for Insurance Restoration Consultants, I have acquired and continue to acquire professional training in all aspects of the construction industry and have received the designations, Certified Restorer (CR), Certified Mold Remediator (CMR), Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), HAAG Residential and Commercial Roof Inspector Certification and Certified Restoration Technician (CRT).
