3 HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE THANK YOU FOR SIGNING UP TO BE A YOUNG MESSIAH AMBASSADOR! We are excited to have you as part of the team. You ve received this guide because you will be hosting a Private Premiere of The Young Messiah or will be involved in a premiere night event on Thursday, March 10, If you haven t already, be sure to watch the Ambassador Program video at YoungMessiahResources.com/ Ambassador. It contains everything you need to know to host your Young Messiah movie event. This Movie Premiere Event Guide outlines the different ways you can promote The Young Messiah, including: A step-by-step Action Plan to help you have a successful movie event. Ideas to promote the film online (through , e-vites, and social media). Posters, fliers, and other resources and tools that are available to help you. Remember, our goal is to get as many people to go to the theater to see The Young Messiah opening weekend! Whether you are a community or business leader or a leader in your church or school, a Young Messiah movie event is a great way to bring people together and acknowledge your customers or members. What s more, this inspirational film will serve as a wonderful discussion-starter, allowing individuals young and old to engage their faith from a fresh perspective. HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW TO HOST A PRIVATE PREMIERE OF THE FILM? Visit YoungMessiahResources.com/Ambassador to learn more, or contact our Ambassador Concierge at or Ambassadors@YoungMessiahResources.com. AMAZING TESTIMONIALS! Our premiere event was incredible. We took over an entire movie theater 2,500 seats and invited all our staff, customers, partners, and all their families, as well as our church, our kids school, and a women s shelter. It was so nice to see the community enjoying a wonderful movie together. Our premiere event was for our staff and customers, and we also gave away tickets to attract new customers. It helped us build staff and customer loyalty, and a database of new customers.
4 ACTION PLAN TO HOST A PRIVATE PREMIERE Ready to do a Theater Takeover at your local movie theater? We ve outlined a simple Action Plan to help you have a great event! Once you begin your Takeover, you will be assigned an Ambassador Concierge who will assist you each step of the way. STEP 1: FORM A TAKEOVER TEAM Once you ve signed up to become a Young Messiah Ambassador (by calling or ing Ambassadors@YoungMessiahResources.com), form a team of four to five highly connected friends and influencers who will collaborate with you. These individuals are also encouraged to help contribute toward the total sponsorship needed for the Takeover. STEP 2: CREATE A HOST COMMITTEE The Host Committee invites leaders from a variety of demographics in your city. Your Team will serve as part of the Host Committee, and you should also include the following leaders: Business and Civic Leaders Faith and Nonprofit Organization Leaders School/College Leaders and Military Leaders STEP 3: SECURE YOUR THEATER Our team will work with you to identify the best theater for your Takeover. It should be a multiplex located centrally for your various guests. Once we know your preferences, our team will secure your theater, and finalize the exact number of seats for your event. STEP 4: SECURE SPONSOR(S) AND PAY FOR YOUR THEATER Ideally you and your other team members will provide all or part of the amount needed for your Takeover. If you need additional sponsors, set up a screening of the movie and invite guests who may be able to sponsor all or part of the Takeover. Once you ve secured your sponsors, you may be able to work with and pay through a local church or nonprofit organization and have that organization purchase the tickets, which could possibly make your payment tax-deductible. 100% of your donation would go toward purchasing tickets. STEP 5: MAKE YOUR GUEST LIST Your Ambassador Concierge will help you build your Guest List. Work with your Host Committee to create a list of organizations that will each get chunks of tickets to distribute to their members (churches, schools, nonprofits). Remember to set aside tickets for you and your Host Committee to give to family, friends, employees, etc. If you have tickets left over, our team can distribute them for you to deserving groups and organizations in your area. STEP 6: INVITE YOUR GUESTS Visit YoungMessiahResources.com/Spread-the-Word to find an e-vite template you can use to invite your guests. Your Ambassador Concierge will provide you with a website where your guests can RSVP online. You can also send your completed Premiere Invitation List to Ambassadors@YoungMessiahResources.com and we ll send the invitations for you with the list you provide, and make phone calls. STEP 7: PROMOTE YOUR EVENT Go to YoungMessiahResources.com to download fliers, mini-posters, social media tools and other resources to promote your event. Call your local media to let them know about the Theater Takeover. STEP 8: DISTRIBUTE TICKETS You will receive your tickets via , mail, or at your local theater s box office (will call), based on your theater s capabilities, which will be determined by your Ambassador Concierge. We will help you distribute the tickets to your guests. STEP 9: HAVE A GREAT EVENT! You and your team should try to meet with the manager of the theater a few days before your event to work through logistics. On the night of the event, you will want to arrive a few hours early and have a team of volunteers who will help. Assign one of your team members to manage the local press/media who attend your event. QUESTIONS? Contact us at Ambassadors@YoungMessiahResources.com or

6 Captivating, inspiring and deeply moving. Cardinal Sean P. O Malley, O.F.M.Cap., Archbishop of Boston Succeeds beautifully in imagining the mystery. Steve McEveety, CEO, Mpower Pictures, Producer of The Passion of the Christ It s a remarkable movie that is tightly paced, excellently scripted and well-filmed. It is SO SO AWESOME!!! Christine Caine, President, A21 ABOUT THE FILM Remaining true to the character of Jesus revealed in the Bible, The Young Messiah is an inspirational story for the whole family about the childhood of the Savior. But Mary and Joseph, in an effort to protect their child, are afraid to reveal all they know. How do you explain the ways of the world to the Creator of the world? How do you teach the Teacher? How do you help the Savior who came to save you? Follow the young Messiah as He and His family take the dangerous journey from Egypt to Nazareth and on to Jerusalem, where His true identity and profound destiny are fulfilled.
