HVRP (Homeless Veteran Reintegration Program) Challenging Group Skills Education Level Willingness Length of time out of Work A single mother of two, Robin Smith, is a U.S Air Force (USAF) veteran trained as a systems analyst, and is still serving in the USAF Reserve as a Staff Sergeant. After being laid off from her job of 15 years as a Human Resources Manager, she steadily sought out employment but attempts to find immediate employment were unsuccessful which put her in jeopardy of losing her housing. She was hired to work in SUS s Veterans s Division as an Employment Specialist. She was promoted a few months later to Veteran s Operations Manager

10 KnickerBocker Transitional Houses both single veterans, and veterans living with serious mental illness and a history of homelessness. s include onsite case management and care coordination Substance abuse counseling Physical health management Benefits assistance/liaison with the VA. Veterans Residential s Genesis Neighborhood Plaza II SUS provides services and supports at GNP II for single veterans, and veteran families contending with mental illness and chronic homelessness. s include; care coordination, life skills management, homeless prevention services and mental health interventions. Building provided by HELP USA Fred is a part of the SUS Knickerbocker Transitional Program Former Marine Gunnery Sergeant Lost His Whole Family in a Car Wreck Now on the Long Term Road to Recovery Effectively the Mayor of Knickerbocker
