3 Why EF MBU? We are ready to welcome foreign students here in Banská Bystrica, at FE MBU. The Faculty of Economics has over 30 years experience in preparation of highly educated professionals for the labour market. As the first Slovak educational institution this faculty has achieved the ISO 9000 quality certificate. All programs are built on credit educational system.

4 A graduate from the program will: - be able to apply and manage: corporate marketing activities at a strategic and tactic level facing a global competitive environment. quality management from the corporate and also customer point of view. - gain the ability to widely implement his/her knowledge from marketing management in the area of production, commerce and services.

5 During 2 years the study program is focused on strategic marketing, international marketing, marketing research, B 2 B marketing, service marketing, international business, marketing communication, strategic management, international management, risk management, process management, management of innovations, financial management, quality management, quality systems, economics of quality, brand value management, social responsibility of business, CRM and others.

6 The study is completed by passing a final state exam and defending a diploma work. Students with a Bachelor degree in a similar study program will be accepted to the Master program without entrance exams. The study is free for students from the EU. For students from other countries it depends on the bilateral agreement on governmental level between the Slovak Republic and the respective country.

7 Why in Banská Bystrica?( The city has 86,000 inhabitant and is located in beautiful mountains. It is a typical student city - almost every fifth person who lives in the city is a university student. Students can obtain various special advantages in many restaurants, cafeterias, pubs and discos. They can also visit social, cultural and sport events held in the city or in the neighbourhood. In winter time can go skiing in the near ski resorts and during the summer spend a great time by hiking, biking, visiting historical places, folk festivals or bathing in mineral spas or aqua parks (see:
