1 Video Divar Digital Video Recorder Divar Digital Video Recorder 6, 9, and 16channel versions Bilinx commnication optional Simltaneos recording, playback & archiving AtoDome control Smart motion search The Bosch Divar digital video recorder series are extremely compact, low profile nits that combine advanced digital recording and mltiplexing, not only saving space, bt ensring integrated fnctionality. The Divar has been designed with both operator and installer in mind, by making the nit easy to se and install, and maintenance free. The Divar allows simltaneos recording and playback of video images. Overwrite protection of marked video clips prevents the loss of vital material. The images per second (IPS) record rate and image qality are selectable for each connected camera. This makes it possible to prioritize recording between highrisk areas and low risk areas. By having a higher refresh rate only for critical or highrisk secrity areas, considerable hard disk space can be saved. Recording rates of 5 IPS (PAL) or 6 IPS (NTSC) are garanteed, withot the need for synchronization. As well as control of external alarm inpts, the Divar's motion detector triggers an alarm when movement in a serdefinable area of the image is detected. Smart motion search can be sed for easy retrieval of motion that has taken place within a serspecified part of the image dring a specified timespan. The Divar is expandable with an optional keyboard, allowing AtoDome control as well as enhanced playback control. Where video is reqired for evidence of an incident, it is simple to archive the video with a dedicated PC player for playback of the secre video files to a DVD or CD with the internal or external DVD writer. The Divar ses video athentication that can atomatically detect any alteration of the recorded video. For easy installation, a Qick install featre is inclded. Additionally, onscreen mens are provided in several langages and context sensitive help is always available by jst pshing the yellow btton. A configration tool is spplied to simplify setting p a system sing a PC. Becase Divar is available with Bilinx, fnctions sally reqiring handson access to a camera now se the video cable to commnicate with Bilinx cameras. Owing to its high degree of integrated fnctionality, the Divar can be the central element in a selfcontained secrity system with p to 256 cameras. Becase the Divar is flly compatible with any standard 1/1 BaseT network, it is ideal for distribted secrity srveillance systems. An optional ATM/POS bridge enables financial transaction details to be recorded together with video. This makes the Divar sitable for se at cash dispensers, check ot desks and other similar applications where it is sometimes necessary to verify or identify what happened dring a particlar transaction.

This makes it ideal for mltiple location systems sch as chains of shops or fast food otlets. Using Internet Explorer, the Divar can also be accessed to view live action or playback archived event withot special software software or tools. Where additional storage is reqired, optional storage arrays can be connected to expand the storage capacity.
