4 PERFECT TECHNOLOGY Bronze Long Lamp Life Our UV tanning lamps will provide even and radiant tanning for at least 600 hours at more than 70% output. The Perfect Bronze PLUS collection even guarantees a minimum operational life of 1000 hours through the use of sophisticated protective shielding, coating procedures and specially engineered halogen cycle processes. Increased UV Output Our top of the line Perfect Bronze A-Max lamps are designed with special long-life, high output electrodes that deliver up to 30% more UV output than conventional lamps. Ratings UVA Irradiance: With their long wavelength, UVA rays penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, where tanning pigments are present. The result is an instant tan or instant pigmentation. UVB Output: The shortwave UVB radiation only penetrates the surface of the skin, where it triggers the formation of new pigments - this tanning effect becomes noticeable after about 48 to 72 hours. Sun Erythema Factor (fse): This factor compares the UV irradiance of a tube with that of the midday sun at the equator. If the factor trebles, the exposure time reduces to one third.

Ultraviolet and infrared radiation from solarium tubes carry a number of health risks and may lead to disorders such as cancer, premature aging of the skin, burns, eye damage, cataracts, deficiency of the immune system, allergic reactions and damage to the vascular system. Pregnant women and persons taking prescription or over the counter medications should consult their physician before using a tanning bed in a solarium. The simultaneous use of medications such as tranquilizers, antibiotics, diuretic, hypotensive, antineoplastic or contraceptive substances may lead to sunburn occurring more quickly because such substances raise the skin s sensitivity to light. The same applies for cosmetics. UV radiation may accelerate the aging process for your skin and increase the risk of skin cancer, such as squamouse or basal cell carcinoma. Your risk of contracting skin cancer rises with the frequency of exposure to UV radiation. People who do not tan in sunlight will generally not go brown in a solarium and are therefore more at risk from the negative effects of tanning lamps. If you do not tan in sunlight, you should avoid tanning lamps. UV exposure in childhood is suspected of favoring melanoma formation in adulthood. Consequently, children should only be allowed to use solaria under medical supervision. ALWAYS WEAR SUITABLE EYE PROTECTION WHEN TANNING (UV PROTECTIVE GOGGLES)!
